The Discovery

Ciara's POV
I was sleeping so deeply. The morning was so calm until...

Mom- Ciara! Mia! Wake up! Time for school!

Ciara- No more skiing? Then no.

Mia- I'm tired!

Dad- Come on. Get up! Wash your face! The vacation is over!

Ciara- And the snow too...

We finally get up. I get to the bathroom first while Mia was behind me. When I looked in the mirror I realized my hair wasn't blonde  anymore! It was platinum blonde almost white! Like Elsa's!

Mia- Ciara! Did you bleach your hair secretly!

Ciara- No! Yesterday my hair was blonde and today it's like this!

Mia- Was it a side effect of you touching that snowflake?

Ciara- I guess. I have to ask Gabriel since he touched it too.

Mia- Ok.

I was going to wash my hands, but when I touched the water...it FROZE!

Ciara- Woah!

Mia-Wow! What did you do?

Ciara- Nothing! I just touched the water!

Mia- Forget it. I'll use the kitchen sink.

We went to get breakfast. It was pancakes and orange juice.

Ciara- Thanks mom!

Mom- You're welcome.

Mom and Dad left for work. We were eating peacefully but when I was getting my juice I got scared by a sound in the neighbors house and it froze!

Ciara- What's happening! This is creeping me out!

Mia- Ahhhh! I don't know!

Ciara- Let's go. We're late for school.

I practically ran to school with Mia. We live really close so I don't use my car that much.

Ciara- Mia! Come with me! We need to talk to our friends. Gabriel isn't here yet. I don't see his car.

Mia- Ok.

Ciara- Meet me in our usual hanging out spot.

Mia- Under the stairs. Got it!

While Mia looks for her friend Fabiola, I look for my squad: Penelope, Ally, and Sara. I spot them in a table and run to them.

Ciara- Girls! Penelope! Ally! Sara!

Penelope- Hi! Ciara! Wait....

Ally- You bleached your hair?

Sara- It looks nice!

Ciara- That's the thing! I didn't bleach it! We need to talk! Meet me under the stairs. Where we usually hang out.

Penelope, Ally & Sara- Ok!

With that I run to check one last time if Gabriel is here. No. Not yet. Since he's not here I run to the meeting spot.

Mia- You're here!

Fabiola- Hi Ciara! What happened to your hair?

Ciara- I'll explain when the rest get here.

Fabiola- Ok.

After a few minutes, my squad is here.

Ciara- What took you so long?

Penelope- Well, after you told us we finished our breakfast, then went to the bathroom but Ally slipped and we were laughing. But then we had to help her and...

Ciara- Nevermind! Let's get to the point.

Mia- So when we went skiing we saw a glowing snowflake.

Ciara- I wanted to take it. So I did. But when I took it, it glowed so bright I almost got blinded!

Mia- Then after that she didn't feel the cold that much. And her hair turned this color!

Ciara- And then I started freezing things!

Fabiola- Weird!

Penelope- Yeah!

Ally- You see snow for the first time and then this happens!

Sara- OMG! Maybe that snowflake gave you snow and ice powers like Elsa!

Ciara- Cool! But weird and impossible.

Mia- Not impossible cause it happened.

Ciara- Good point.

Penelope- Try it! Freeze my bottle of water!

I swirled my hands and made many snowflakes. Then I threw them to the bottle and it froze.

Ciara- Wow!

Fabiola- Awesome!

Sara- See? I was right!

Ally- You can make snow on Puerto Rico!

Penelope- A tropical island!

Ciara- Don't tell anyone about this! Not even my parents! Keep it a secret!

All- Of course! We promise!

Mia- Let's meet at my house after school ends to keep talking about this. But our excuse will be that we are doing homework together.

Ciara- Perfect! See ya later!

I need to talk to Gabriel! Where is he?
