I don't understand it...this feeling. He broke my heart! He shattered it, shattered it to pieces! This feeling, this feeling of love. Why do I still love him after all this mess he's put me through. He's the reason I'm like this! The reason I'm dying...

Or maybe I'm just killing myself.

See when you love someone, you never let go of that person no matter how hard the situation is. You work together to fix it. Love is a two person job. Not one or three, it's just a two person job.

So maybe I was the only one in love?

He holds her now, just like he held me. It wasn't so hard for him to let me go, so why is it so hard for me to let him go? Oh that's right; because I'm the stupid one who thinks what we had was actually true love. Maybe what we had was just lust...

But I can't say that from what we had.

What we had was like a candle lit so brightly in a dark room filled with people dancing, groping on each other for sex and pleasure.

Our love story, our "candle", lit the whole room. It gave everyone in that room hope some form of love had existed on our planet full of lust. We were the "perfect couple." We didn't love for the body, we didn't love for the intimacy, but for the heart we both had. But of course as time went on, the candle began to dim. And soon the little dancing flame started to dance away.

Just like he did.

I look back at the past and think, that love story was too good to be true. I tell myself everyday it wasn't real, that all of it was just a dream, just so I'll be able to make it through the day. But how can you call it a dream when there is so much evidence it was your reality at one point in time?

Who knows...

Maybe one day I will come to my senses and realize it all wasnt all fairytale; just a tragety waiting to happen.
