You and Luke had been dating for eight months now and for your eight month anniversary you were planning on visiting him on the tour he was on with your brother's band, One Direction.

Your brother and Luke's band mates had helped you plan everything and, after a twelve hour flight to Los Angeles, you were finally standing backstage in the 5SOS boys' dressing room waiting to surprise Luke when he gets off stage.

You were sitting on the couch texting your best friend excitedly when Luke's text tone went off the first time. You ignored it and continued to text your friends until his phone went off again. You were obviously curious but it wasn't your place to pry into his phone.

Finally, after the seventh text message alert, you decided to check to see who was texting him.

Your eyes teared up as you unlocked his phone and saw that he and Taylor had been texting back and forth for three weeks. You dropped his phone and ran from the room.

Niall's band mates looked up at you with shock clear on all of their faces as you entered their dressing room. Sobs were wracking your body and you struggled to ask the boys where Niall was.

"He told Ashton he'd watch him perform. What happened?" Liam asked, guiding your trembling body to the couch in the middle of the room.

"Luke's been cheating on me for weeks," you whimpered, words barely audible through your tears.

"Oh, (Y/N),l Liam said sadly, sitting next to you and pulling you into a tight hug. You cried in his arms until the boys were told to go to the stage to start the concert. The exhaustion of your meltdown and the plane ride that preceded it finally caught up to you and you fell asleep.

You woke up to the sound of two very familiar voices arguing loudly in the hallway outside the room. You quietly opened the door and could clearly hear what Niall was saying to your supposed boyfriend.

"How dare you do that to (Y/N)? I trusted you to take care of her and instead you go and cheat on her? What kind of a-hole does that?" Niall asked, visibly seething.

"I-I'm sorry. It was a mistake. I still love (Y/N)," Luke stammered nervously.

"Well that's too bad! You don't deserve my sister. She flew all the way out here to see you only to find out that you've been leading her on for weeks. Stay the hell away from me and don't even think about coming anywhere near (Y/N) or I'll beat the s-"

"Niall, that's enough. Let's just get out of here," you intervened, knowing that if you let your brother keep going he'd end up doing something drastic.

Niall turned away from Luke and followed you into his dressing room. He pulled you into his arms and whispered that he was sorry about the breakup in your ear.

"It's okay. Who needs a boyfriend when I've got the best big brother ever?" You said, making him laugh before you left to get on the tour bus and hang out with Niall and the boys.
