Cold

Frisk's POV

I was thinking all about Toriel and I had completely forgotten about Sans. I didn't even notice when the stick broke or when he passed behind me, neither did Chara. When we got to the bridge I turned around suddenly remembering Sans. Sans walked up to me, when I saw him my nightmare came into my mind. My blood was covered on him, his eye was blue and he said, "Kids like you should be burning in hell."

"Frisk?" Sans said. But all I could see was my nightmare. I cried out and fell on the ground.

"Please not again. I don't want to die again! I hate all of the pain! Please don't hurt me again." I cried. Chara stood there in shock and Sans had a worried look on his face.

"Shhh. Its ok I won't hurt you. Not again I promise." Sans said. He knelt down beside me and grabbed me in again. Tears streamed down my face. I didn't even struggle when he hugged me, I was paralyzed with fear.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry! It's all my fault! I killed them. It's all my fault." I cried.

"Shh. Its ok. I'm here." Sans said. I kept repeating that it's all my fault over and over again.

"You are right. Kids like me should be burning in hell." I said. I felt Sans tense up.

"If kids like you should be burning in hell then guys like me should make sure you are doing nothing but burning marshmallows." He said. I felt something wet land on my head. I looked up and saw that Sans was crying, his tears were bright blue. I wrapped my arms around Sans, all of the fear that I had felt was gone.

"Come on kid. Papyrus is up ahead." Sans said. I smiled and nodded my head. We stood up and went across the bridge. I went to the lamp laughing the entire time. Sans and Papyrus went through their usual dialog. When they were about halfway through I felt like my entire body was frozen. When Papyrus left I walked out from behind the lamp and walked to Sans. He automatically noticed that I was cold.

"Hey kid you all right? You look chilled, TO THE BONE!" Sans said. I laughed a little bit but I couldn't laugh much because I was so cold.

"Hey just hang in a little longer ok?" He said. I nodded my head and left the area. I went up to the box in the next area and put my butterscotch cinnamon pie in it. I went to go talk to Sans and Papyrus. They did their dialog but a little bit in Papyrus looked at me in a funny way.

"Human! Are you ok? You look like you're going to pass out!" Papyrus said. I slowly and shakily raised my hand and gave him a thumbs up.

"Frisk are you s-sure you're ok?" Chara asked coming up to me. I could tell she was cold too. I nodded my head. Papyrus gave me a concerned look then slowly backed away to the next area. Sans came up to me.

"First of all why is Chara with you?! And second are you sure you're ok?" Sans asked.

"I-I'm ok. I'll tell you about Ch-chara later." I said. Sans nodded his head and left. I went through most of the puzzles, struggling against the cold. Finally before the last puzzle I went up to Sans. The cold had finally gotten to me. As soon as I got to Sans I couldn't even say a word. I fell into Sans shivering.

"Woah kid are you ok?" Sans asked worriedly. Sans grabbed me and laid me on the ground. He took off his hoodie and out it on me. I sighed with relief, his jacket was so warm. I couldn't move though. Sans picked me up and cradled me in his arms. We walked onto the bridge were Papyrus was.

"Sans? Human what is going on?" Papyrus asked.

"The kid practically passed out in my arms because she was so cold." Sans said. I didn't say anything I just cuddled closer to Sans and wrapped the hoodie closer to me. I couldn't hear anything else they had said. I passed out in Sans arms.
