Chapter 4: Shower Troubles

Katelyn awoken earlier than usual. She remembered that she had to meet Travis at sunset in the park. She sat up in her bed, checking her phone for any messages or updates. Katelyn got up and showered, then came to her bedroom door, where Aphmau was standing there, blocking her way. "Aphmau, what exactly are you doing?" Katelyn asked. Aphmau was sweating and smiling nervously, but she stayed quiet. Katelyn got impatient. "Aphmau, I'm dripping wet in a towel and a puddle is forming beneath my feet. This is NOT a time for your games, Aphmau!" Aphmau couldn't take the anger Katelyn was in, so she moved out of her way. Katelyn walked into her room and stepped in something squishy.

She looked down and saw she stepped in do poop. "APHMAU! KEEP YOUR STUPID DOGS OUT OF MY-" Katelyn slipped, and she fell in some more. It got in her hair and all over her back. "GAH! NOW I HAVE TO TAKE A SHOWER AGAIN!" Katelyn complained as she made her way to the bathroom. She washed her hair out and and scrubbed her back. As she came out the bathroom, all of the puppies were following Aphmau, who was about to answer the front door. It was Travis. "Have you seen Katelyn?" he asked. He looked up the stairs and saw Katelyn in a towel, who was drying her hair. He sneaked up to the bathroom door and wanted to surprise her. Then, Celestia barked and all of the puppies came running up the stairs. Gold was running really fast, and she brushed past Katelyn, knocking off her towel.

Katelyn screeched and pulled up her towel. She checked out the door and saw Travis, who was standing there, gawking at what he just saw. Katelyn's face turned from rage to blushing, then she became furious. "TRAVIS! WHY DID YOU DO THAT?" She shouted. Travis held up his hands to block his face. "IT WASN'T ME! I SWEAR!" Katelyn slapped his left cheek, leaving a very red mark. "DON'T LIE TO ME! I KNOW YOU WOULD DO THIS!" Aphmau looked up at what was happening at the bathroom. "Katelyn, it wasn't Trav-" Katelyn was to angered to listen. "I KNOW HE DID IT! YOU SHOULD'VE SEEN WHAT HAPPENED WHEN MY DRAWER BROKE!" Aphmau shrugged and went up to her room. 

Katelyn slapped Travis again. As she was about to shut the bathroom door, she yelled, "AND DON'T EXPECT ME TO COME TO THE PARK TONIGHT!" She slammed the door, and Travis leaned against the wall next to it. Aphmau came out of her room and saw Travis on the wall. "What are you doing? You know Katelyn isn't gonna come out, right?" Travis put a hand over his head and sighed. "I know that. It's just that-" Katelyn opened the door and walked straight to her room. Travis followed her, but Aphmau stopped him from entering. "I got this," she said, smiling. She shut the door behind her as she walked into Katelyn's room. Katelyn had her face in her knees. Aphmau sat next to Katelyn and laughed.

"What's so funny?" Katelyn asked. Aphmau couldn't stop laughing. Katelyn got up and smacked her with a pillow. "Tell me what's so funny!" Aphmau finally stopped laughing. "Now you know how I feel!" she said, pulling out her phone and taking pictures of Katelyn. Katelyn smiled and laughed. "Oh yeah, when Aaron accidentally saw you without a towel!" She hit Aphmau with a pillow. "Now I totally deserved it." Aphmau and Katelyn laughed. "I know it wasn't Travis, it was one of the puppies!" Aphmau snorted. Katelyn looked ashamed. "Really? Wow...um, I guess I need to apologize to Travis." She got up and walked out of her room, but Travis wasn't there,

"Travis?" Katelyn shouted. He was no where in sight. She left the house in search of him. "Travis?" she repeated throughout the street. She checked at the house he lived in. She knocked and Laurence answered. "Oh hey Katelyn, why are you over here?" he asked. "I'm looking for Travis. Have you seen him?" she asked eagerly. Laurence shrugged. Katelyn left, searching all of Mystreet. Hours passed by, and she gave up. Katelyn walked to the park and sat on a bench. Tears ran down her face. She felt a hand on her shoulder. "Go away." she responded. She turned around and saw it was Travis. He was wearing a tuxedo and had a little bow tie. "Travis?" Katelyn gasped. She hugged him, but then pushed him away and slapped him.

"WHY DID YOU JUST LEAVE?" She yelled. Travis pointed up to the sky, and it was reddening. It was sunset. Travis kissed Katelyn. "Can I ask you a question?" Travis said, holding Katelyn's hands. He stuttered. Katelyn got impatient. "What?! What is so important that I had to shower twice, get embarrassed by Aphmau snapping pictures,  wake up early, AND step in dog poop? Tell me-" Travis kissed her again. "W-will you b-b-b-be my girlfriend?" Katelyn looked at him in an odd way. She hugged Travis and answered. "Yes...but..." Travis broke away from her hug. "But what? I didn't know there were requirements?" Katelyn laughed. "There's always requirements, have you wondered why you had so many girlfriends?" 

Travis held her close. "Because these looks work like a magnet?" Katelyn giggled a little. She kissed his cheek. "No, and I will be your girlfriend." They kissed, and Kawaii~Chan was hiding behind a tree. She took a picture of them holding hands at sunset. Travis and Katelyn held hands as they left the park. A woman was jogging past them and Travis looked at her. Katelyn noticed and slapped him. "What?" Travis complained. "You know why. Since you have a girlfriend now, you can't look at other women's butts, especially if they're in yoga pants." Travis smiled. "So...what you are saying is that I can only look at yours?" Katelyn blushed. "N-NO! IT'S JUST THAT YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO PAY ATTENTION TO ME!" Katelyn yelled. Travis laughed and they walked to Katelyn's house. It was night time, and they stopped at the door to talk for a second.

"So I'll see you tomorrow?" Travis asked. Katelyn rolled her eyes. "No Travis. I'm helping Kawaii~Chan with her bake sale. Were you even paying attention when I was talking to you?" Travis nervously laughed. "Ah ha, funny story! It turns out those skinny jeans were WAY more important to my eye than whatever you were telling me. Ha ha ha..." Katelyn was furious and looked as if she was going to strangle Travis. She calmed down and kissed Travis's cheek. "Goodnight." Katelyn uttered. She shut the door and sighed. Only seconds later a knock came to the door. Katelyn answered it rudely. "WHAT DO YOU-" Travis grabbed her face and kissed her. They kissed for 6 minutes, until Dante started yelling at Travis. "TRAVIS! I NEED HELP! LAURENCE AND GARROTH ARE FIGHTING AGAIN!" He yelped. 

Travis sighed and hugged Katelyn goodbye. He sprinted to his house and shouted, "GET THE ROPES!" Katelyn shut the door and turned around to see Aphmau and Kawaii~Chan staring at her with silly smiles. "What?" Katelyn asked. "KATELYN~SAMA HAS A NEW BOYFRIEND!" Kawaii~Chan squealed. Katelyn rushed up to her room and locked herself in. She lied on her bed and thought.

Today wasn't that bad. I got something good out of it. Travis is my boyfriend now. Now I might have an excuse to go anywhere I want, except I have to go anywhere with Travis. What will we do now since we're dating? Obviously not go on dates, knowing what he tried to do with Lisa. But he's mine now, and I will never let him go.

Katelyn fell asleep.

Especially with that cute white hair.
