qui troung is an orphan, waiting for her mom to come back for her.

whenever a family tries to adopt her she 'acts' depressed, at least that's what her caretaker says. but qui's act makes families believe that she is ruined, broken. she's not like every orphan, depressed and longing to get out, in fact, she kind of likes it there, shes grown used to it, for it's the only real home she's had.

the fares family breaks a lot of stereotypes. they're a black, muslim, successful family. aashif fares is the owner of a soul food restaurant chain, he's married to adria pavia and they've had a venezuelan (also latin) american child, and an adopted austrailian child.

when the fares travel back to to rest for a while, stop traveling a little bit, they decide to adopt yet another child, preferably a girl, and bring her to go traveling around the us.

what happens when qui's eyes are opened to a new world?

mature readers only please!

*look, i know, you're probably going to get mad at a few characters, and that's completely fine, but do not and i repeat DO NOT attack ME because of what i write. there aren't going to be warnings on every chapter obecause, to be honest, if you can't read through that, don't. no one is forcing you to scroll down through chapter after chapter of my book. then you have the audacity to comment mean things about me because of what i write? unbelievable. i already know, some people are going to be like, "if you can't take the heat, don't write a book," i can take the heat, but it's unnecessary. if you write anything mean or irrelevant, you will get reported, blocked, and you will be unable to write anything on my stories ever again. just a warning because haters get on my nerves.*

ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, basically, don't steal my stuff, i've been coming up for ideas for about a year now so please, if you're going to be a writer, be creative; be imaginative, make your own stuff. if any of my stuff is copied, you could or will be sued or maybe even thrown in jail for plagiarism . guys, you gotta be creative!
