Don't play with fire.
The flame can either light your way or burn and destroy everything before you,
I want equality you want dominance.
I'm a lost soul, a flame that needs to run wild and create infernos
But in order for you to burn you doused my flame.
When I couldn't keep you warm you Tried to extinguish me
Mind clouded
Distracted in infatuation as or bodies make the decisions for us in the heat of passion but it doesn't last long as our flames grow reckless
Longing for freedom not suffocation
Trying to explain my point to you
Trying to explain these feelings to you
But you never listen.
Until it was too late
And everything became ash and dust
Rather than our love rising out the ashes like a phoenix
It stays disintegrated
Till the ashes blow away and all is left is the memory.
