Aphmau's POV
Raven, Garroth, and I are talking when I feel a presence.
"Guys, do you feel that?" I question, panicked.
"I do, human." Raven replies.
"What are you talking about?" Garroth asks, fear in his voice.
"I-I know what it is...." I say worriedly.
"You do?" Raven questions. I nod fearfully.
"The Demon Warlock...... I know where he is." I say. I recognize the evil presence.
"Is this-" I cut Garroth off mid-sentence.
"Yes. We need to go, Raven." I say to everyone. Raven nods.
"Um... Sure?" Garroth agrees, sort of. I drag him out of the cave.
"Garroth, I need to fight him on my own. You may watch, hidden, but please do not fight him." I say seriously to him. I can tell that he wants to protest, but he knows that I wont let him win.
"Fine...." He follows me as we walk in silence to where the presence is coming from. Many would call this a stupid action, but if I don't fight him and prolong his actions on the world, he will take the lives of many.
"Let me go from here." I whisper to Garroth. We are near him, I know it. He gives me a look that seems to say 'Go on.' I walk over to the clearing where the presence is. The evil warlock stands before me. I can sense that Garroth is watching.
"Wanted to come for a third time, eh? Haha! You really think you're strong, don't you? Pitiful." The Demon Warlock says menacingly.
"You wish.." I reply. He shoots some sort of magiks at me. I wince as sharp pain shoots through my arm from it.
"Wha? That should have killed her immediately." I hear him mutter under his breath. What does that mean? I transform into my other form. The Demon Warlock stares at me menacingly, preparing an attack. My grip tightens on my materialized sword. I swipe at him with my sword, the pain in my arm weakening me. Garroth notices me struggling and comes forward, sword in hand. I shoot him back and keep him there with my powers. I cant risk him getting hurt. I swipe again and also miss.
"I cant let him pass...." I mumble. I can hear Garroth attempting to break free from the barrier. It may be bad for him now, but it could save his life. I swipe again, hitting him this time.
"Grr..... I will come back and get you....." He growls. He shoots another ball of magiks as he fades into thin air. The magiks hit me on my arm again. Pain spreads throughout my body, strongest in my arm. I look down and see a giant puddle of crimson fluid. Blood. My blood. I release Garroth and limp over to him.
"Why did you trap me Aphmau?" Garroth questions.
"I-I don't want you hurt." I say, in pain.
"Well, you obviously are hurt. We need to get back to the village. Now." Garroth says worriedly yet sternly at the same time.
"Y-you're ri-" I start to speak but faint from both pain and blood.
Garroth's POV
I watch as Aphmau passes out right in front of me. I remember the way back to the portal. I hesitate at first, but I pick up Aphmau and make my way back to the portal to the village. I jump in to the portal with Aphmau in my arms.
"G-guys...... Aphmau...." I attempt to say something while panting.
"What happened?!?!?!?" Laurance asks, worried about Aphmau.
"The Demon Warlock... We need to get her to Lucinda." I basically command him. We bring her to Lucinda to heal her.
Aphmau's POV
I wake up somewhere unknown. As my vision clears, I make out potion shelves, indicating that I'm at Lucinda's place. I wince in pain as I attempt to sit up.
"Aphmau! Please don't move. Also, Garroth explained everything. He brought you back here." Lucinda explains.
"P-please, tell Garroth thank you from me. I feel that I'm going to pass out soon." I say in response. As expected, I pass out again.
