Where's Yugi?

Yami paced back and forth by the front door he and his boyfriend shared. He kept throwing glances to the door incase his aibou would suddenly walk through the door, but that didn't happen.

He checked his phone for the hundredth time, but Yugi hadn't responded to any of his texts or calls. Yami checked the time again, and he saw it was now two hours later then the time Yugi said he would be home, and his aibou was never late. Yami had no other way of contacting Yugi for when Yami got his own body, the mind-link they had once shared vanished.

Yami couldn't stand waiting any longer. He was going to go look for his little hikari. Yami grabbed his jacket and went outside. '

Yugi said he was going to the store, so I'm gonna check there first'. When he got there he ran into Teà who worked there. 'Just what I need. But hey, she may have seen him' Yami thought as she ran over with a squeal to hug him.

"Hi Yami!!!"

"Hello Teà" he responded rather distracted.

"What's wrong baby?" She asked him. Normally he would tell her off, but his thoughts were elsewhere.

"Have you seen Yugi?!" He asked rather frantically.

This shocked Teà. "Umm no. I haven't. I'm sorry".

Yami swore under his breath and ran out of the store without another word. 'Where are you Aibou?!' He mentally thought. Then he had a sick suspicion that made his blood boil. 'Kaiba'. Yami sprinted to Seto Kaiba's mansion. Yami banged on the door like a maniac.

"OPEN UP KAIBA!!!" Yami shouted.

Seto opened the door and looked at Yami with high annoyance. Yami snarled and lunged himself at his enemy.

"WHERE THE FUCK IS HE KAIBA?! YOU SICK BASTARD!!!" Yami screamed.

Seto pushed Yami against the wall and held him there. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!" He shouted back.

"YUGI!!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HIM?!"

"WHAT ARE YOU TALKNG ABOUT?! I HAVN'T DONE ANYTHING TO YUGI!!!" That statement made Yami stop struggling.

Kaiba may be a lot of things, but a liar isn't one of them. "W-where is he then..?" Yami choked.

"I don't know Yami... I'm sorry... Please excuse me. I have work to do" Seto then proceeded to push and then lock Yami out of the mansion.

Yami spent the the rest of the day looking frantically for his lover. He asked everyone if they had seen him, but no one had seen Yugi.

By now, it was almost dark and Yami was in the middle of nowhere surrounded by buildings he'd never seen before. He leaned against one blinking back tears.

He whispered "Aibou" as a tear escaped and rolled down his cheek. He then heard a sound. He listened hard to hear it again. And that's when he heard it, a faint "help".

Yami became alert. "AIBOU" he called as he sprinted to where he was sure the voice had come from. 'It's Yugi! It is! I know it is! I can feel it! Hang on Aibou, I'm coming!'. He came to an alley where he heard whimpers and cries. He turned and saw the figure of his boyfriend. Yami sprinted to Yugi.

"Aibou?!?" He cried as he crouched next to his love.

Yugi looked up weakly, "M-mou hitori n-no b-boku...?"

"Yes! Yes Aibou it's me!"

"Y-Yami......" That's when Yami saw the pool of blood Yugi was lying in. Yugi had cuts and bruises all over his body.
