Where has my baby gone?
Where's her soft lullaby?
Lulling me softly to sleep.
Guess she's vanished.
Guess I'll weep.
Don't get too lost,
In the whirling leaves of fall-
And the swirling storm,
That winter calls,
Stay bright my darling.
Your light is heaven's echo-
Your song is luminous.
Falling
Stars from the past
Break upon the day like glass.
Lay softly to sleep,
Don't make a peep,
I'll hold my tears
If you'll release your fears.
Stay strong, stay strong,
For one end is night
As another dawns in the sky.
You were my lullaby,
But I've got to wake up now.
