Chapter 3: Classes

♣ ♣ ♣

The next morning, Eliana woke up last in her dormitory, with only thirty minutes until breakfast starts. Lia was still fast asleep, with drool falling from her open mouth while she snored while Elizabeth was probably already in the common room.

After taking her well-deserved bath, Eliana wore her uniform along with her school robes then pinned her prefect badge on her robes; slung her bag full of her books, quills and parchment into her shoulders, she proceeded to wake Lia up and then went straight down to the common room to find Elizabeth.

Once she reached the common room, she found Elizabeth in one of the armchairs near the fire, while Oliver Wood was bent over a parchment muttering about quidditch plays.

“Good morning Liza, Wood,” Eliana greeted after she sat down, immediately closing her eyes to hopefully catch a few minutes of sleep.

“Morning, Ana.”

Oliver raised his brows, “So I'm Wood again, eh? What'd I do this time?”

“Nothing, I'm just tired and your name has too many syllables,” Eliana opened her eyes and turned to Elizabeth.“If I'd known how late the patrols could get, I wouldn't have accepted being prefect.”

“Here's another plus, we'd be doing our O.W.L.'s this year, which means more sleepless nights,” Elizabeth smiled sympathetically and patted Eliana's shoulders. “So you better get ready Ana.”

Eliana groaned and then turned to Oliver, “Speaking of, where the hell is Percy and why is he not sharing my suffering?”

Oliver snorted and said,“Do you really expect Perce to not wake up early? He said he'd be getting his and your's patrol timetables from the head boy.”

“That's awfully nice of him.”

“I'm here! I'm here! Are we late to breakfast yet?” Lia rushed down from the girls' dormitory, still trying to fix the buttons of her school robes.

“We better head out then,” Oliver grabbed the parchments lying around and proceeded to stuff them in his bag.

"Ugh, I still need my sleep," Lia groaned as they walked to the Great Hall for breakfast.

"You always sleep Lia. How come you're still sleepy? You were the first one to doze off last night!" Elizabeth said.

"True, but my dream was interrupted when Ana woke me up. Its unfair, why can't I get more sleep? Sleep is integral for a person you know, plus I was having such a great dream."

“You were whispering Charlie Weasley's name last night, it was embarrassing,” Elizabeth said, her nose scrunched up.

“Hey, you gotta admit, the guy's a total eye candy,” Lia whispered conspicuously. “Too bad he already graduated.”

“Can you lot stop acting like I'm not here with you,” Oliver grumbled.

“Yes, Oliver's macho-ness can't take the girliness,” Eliana said sarcastically.

Once Eliana and her friends reached the great hall, Lia immediately went straight to talk with the twins(probably going to ask what Charlie's been up to) while Eliana, Oliver and Elizabeth sat down next to Percy and Harold, Eliana quickly fixed herself her breakfast.
