There was a boy named Harry Numen, he was 20 years old and he had a girlfriend named Lisa Duncan. He also had a best friend named Mark Thomas. For weeks Harry had been planing to propose to Lisa and of course he had asked his best friend Mark to help. They had decided to take Lisa hiking since she loved that kind of stuff. At the top there was a beautiful waterfall and that is where Harry would ask while Mark videoed it. They decided to do it in two days toe so they could make sure everything would be ready and the fact that it would be Valentine's Day.
2 Days Later
Harry had the bathing suits,the camera, and the picnic basket ready. And most of all he had the ring in his pocket. He picked up Mark first and then went and picked up Lisa. Once he picked them both up he set out for the mountain. It took them an hour to get there and it would take them about another hour to get to the top. But once they took one look at the mountain they knew it was worth it.
30 minutes later
They only had around 30 minutes left to go till they reached the top. That is when disaster struck. Harry had went up in front just a little to make sure it was safe. They were walking when they heard a crack, they all turned to look at each other when the ground beneath Mark and Lisa gave out. Luckily they both had caught the ledge. Unluckily they were both losing there grip, so Harry would only be able to save one of them. He went and grabbed... Marks hand and pulled him up. Lisa lost her grip and fell to her death. The cops arrived on the scene in a matter of minutes. They interrogated the two boys in till they were satisfied it was an accident. Once they were finished Mark turned to Harry with tears in his eyes and asked a simple question. Why me??? Harry's response was "friendship is for life while love is for eternity". Now Mark was full out crying, but was able to ask Harry " what can I do to repay you"? Harry's answer was push me off this cliff so I can be with my lover. With a horrified look in his eyes Mark shook his head no. With that Harry said "then I will do it myself." And before anyone could react Harry jumped and died so he could be with his lover.
