Mavis' POV

~beep beep~

Can't a girl get some sleep on a Saturday?? Apparently not.

Hi I'm Mavis and I live with my sister Ivy. Our parents died in a car crash.

Because I am 17 we have to live with my Aunt Bonnie. She has never liked me or Ivy because my mother married my father. She always says 'I never liked him you could have done better!' But what can you do, it's not like you can choose your family.

I was cleaning the bathroom one day and aunt Bonnie came in. "What a mess in here, you should really clean this mess up and quick because I am going out tonight and I might not be back for a while. Is that ok with you?" Aunt Bonnie liked to go out and get wasted and bring some guy home. Like ever night!

But that night is going to change our lives firever. I had been saving my money from work and finding money in the couch. And been looking at places Ivy and I could stay at until I could get enough money to leave the country.

But I couldnt leave just yet I need to pack all of our things that I hadn't already.

Since it was 9:00pm I woke up Ivy and help her get ready. She was only 13 when mum and dad died and she had to grow up in an instant to try and understand what is happening around her.

Once that was done I grabed my car keys and put everything in and jumped in making sure Ivy was in the passingers seat.

I pulled up to the hotel I looked at weeks ago that was suitable for us. I walked in and asked the lady behind the desk for a weeks worth of rent for a room. She gave me a nice warm smile and gave me the room key. I walked up to the room with Ivy and told her everything is going to be ok.
