Harlee.

"Eli take that back" I yelled as I chased him down the street. "Wait where are you going?" He took a left turn, instead of a right. "That's not the way to school"

"Just follow me" he turned around, a small smile starting to form. I stopped and just stood there, I didn't want to be late to school. "What are you afraid of?"

"I've never been late" I looked down in embarrassment.

"Do you trust me?" he began to walk towards me. I nodded my head, as he held his hand out. "Well then come with me"

I pushed away his hand, and started to walk in the direction he was heading. He just stood there shocked. "Are you coming?" I yelled, causing him to run up to my side. "So where are we going?"
~
"Tell me a bit about yourself" Eli asked, as we laid under a tree.

"My full name is Harlee May Stevens" I shrugged, not knowing what to say.

"Do you have any siblings?"

"I have an older brother, Bailey. You probably know him everyone does. It's funny that no one realises that we were born in the same year but are not twins" I sighed. "I was born in December, him January. I guess they just don't pay attention to me. They all notice him, but never me"

"How could someone not notice those eyes?" I could just imagine the smug look on his face, but as I turned my head to look at him that's not what I saw. Instead I saw him looking straight at me, a massive smile on his face. I looked away smiling, as soon as I felt the blush rise on my cheeks. "I love your smile" he whispered, probably not meaning for me to hear.

"Fuck" I looked down at my phone. "We have missed first period" I started to get up, being pulled back down. "Eli did you not hear me? We have missed first period"

"Be a little rebellious" I tried to get back up again as he pulled me down onto his chest, flipping us over and putting himself in a push up position over the top of me. "Let me take you away from the world" he whispered in my ear, the warmth of his breathe sent shivers down my spine.

He looked down at me with such desperation and wonder in his eyes. "Okay"
~
"So you take me to Starbucks?" I laughed at him nearly falling over, hugging his arm for support.

"Gotta keep my caffeine levels up" he spoke with so much sarcasm, I nearly slapped him.

"I don't like the taste of coffee or the smell" I scrunched my nose up as we entered the shop.

"I guess a hot chocolate instead" I nodded my head at his statement.

He ordered our drinks as I stood near the door, staying as far away from the coffee as I could. You could tell the girl over the counter really wanted him. The way she bent over so he could see her cleavage, funny thing was he was either looking at the menu or me.
~
"It's weird" Eli grabbed my hand, as I went to sit down. "I barely know you, but have felt like I have known you forever"

"Is that so?" I bit my lip and looked at him as he stared off into the distance. His fingers intertwined with mine as he nodded. "I feel the same"

"Really" he tried to hold back a smile, but you could see it in his eyes.
