"is the baby okay? What about Camri? Will they survive? She's so small! Camri's looking pale and weak!" I just said anything running through my head I can't believe I'm a daddy!
But if we don't get to the kingdom hospital I won't be a mate or daddy!
"okay! the baby is very premature! You just better be glad she took after her mother, because if she would have been even 1/3 human she would have died. Your mate I very weak she's still loosing blood. I'm trying to stop it but it jut keeps coming whatever they gave her is stopping her body from healing. She will die if we don't get her somewhere now!" The man told me
"okay, we need to get to the kingdom hospital! Ill need your help though! I have already contacted the shifters to take there shifts tonight on guard! They won't like vampires with me but will behave better then the demons!" I stated
"Okay if we don't move on 5 minutes your mate will die! This baby is very premature like I said and needs to be with her mother at all times and needs her milk only! Me and drew will help you as much as possible! And my name is John." john said
I looked down at my mate and saw the light flash out of her eyes. She slowly loosened her grip on the baby!
I picked the baby up and handed her to drew.
"what's happening! John help me! Is she dead!" I yelled
John picked her up and handed her to me saying "she's alive but her heart rate is weakening, but it is there! Run as fast a you can and we will be right behind you!" John said
I started running towards the kingdom quickening my pace every few seconds. I looked behind me to look at drew. She would nod every time I looked back to say the the baby was okay
I contacted my mom and she put all the demons under rulers orders! To make sure they didn't attack the vampires and we would get there quickly with Camri and the baby
"is the baby okay? Camri is opening her eyes right now!" I yelled
"okay stop and let me see her! The baby is stable but getting cold!" John said
"ummm okay." I said slowing to a stop
he looked at her and I have him my shirt since his was filled and soaked with her blood once he removed it.
Why did I wear a white shirt today!
"okay man she set for now and her eyes are open but she looks like shock is setting over which is really really bad!" John said
"ummm well we need to hurry then!" I told him back
"this is the thing, the baby is getting colder and were cold creatures!
I need you to use your shifting power to use your wolf power! But without shifting into your wolf. The heat in your body will keep the baby safe for now! I will carry Camri and drew will be the lookout!" He stated reaching for Camri
"okay I've only done this once and it's hard but I think if I just think about something hot I will....."
I got really sweaty all of a sudden and there was hair on my skin but I was still in human form! I did it!
"good job man, even though you went alittle far but it's okay! Grab the baby from drew! We gotta go!" He yelled
I grabbed my baby girl an took off running and he was right she needed warmth. When I held her in my arms she instantly cuddled into the shape my arm held her in against my chest.
We started nearing my moms land, so I went first!
"okay I'm going to walk ahead but stay close behinds please! I will call out and get the shifters to control themselves I don't want you to or Camri getting Hurt!" I told them and they both nodded
