The Birds Are Freed From Their Cages

Naruto waited at Hinata's bed side for her to wake up. She had been asleep for two days and he was beginning to worry. Early that morning she began to toss and turn. Hinata finally sat up healthy and awake.

"N-Naruto?" She asked. "What happened, were are we?"

"You were kidnapped by two cloud ninja and I saved you." Naruto said. "Also we're at the Konoha hospital. You've been asleep for two days."

"The village was under attack." Hinata said remembering the battle. "What happened?"

"We won and captured Orochimaru." Naruto said. "There were very few casualties. Also I was named winner of the Chunin Exams, do you know what that means?"

"Yes," Hinata said. "The Branch family is free of that damned seal."

"It also means your free from your clan." Naruto said placing his lips against hers. "It also means your my fiancé."

"W-what?" Hinata asked her face becoming red.

"That was the terms of the deal between me and the Hyuga clan." Naruto said. "Why, do you not want to marry me?"

"N-no I d-do but," Hinata stuttered. "We live in two different villages."

"Come live with me." Naruto said. "Your clan has disowned you and I'm so sorry about that, but now we can be together."

"I would love to Naruto," Hinata said. "But my team and my friends live here."

"I have a solution to that my love." Naruto said kissing Hinata's cheek. "Now get some rest while I go tie up lose ends."

"Naruto," Hinata said. "Thank you."

Naruto left Hinata's room and looked at Zabuza and Zane. He was trusting the with Hinata's safety as he went about his business.

"If anyone tries to hurt her you kill them." Naruto said. "I'm off to see they Hyuga clan and the Hokage."

"We will protect her with are lives." Zabuza said.

"I know you will." Naruto said starting off.

"We won't do it." One of the elder Hyuga main family members said. "You never told us you could use the Nine Tail's powers."

"I don't remember you asking." Naruto said. "You will hold up on yor end of the deal, or I will just have to make you."

"You dare threaten us?" Another Hyuga asked.

"I'm not threatening," Naruto said. "I'm promising. I promise you all that if my demands aren't met you will all suffer."

"We had a deal." Hiashi, Hinata's father, said. "As clan leader I will see to your demands personally, but the demand of removing the Caged Bird seal is impossible. The only way to do so is by killing the host of the seal."

"A have a ninja named Rose who has the ability to remove any type of curse or seal." Naruto said. "Now let me remind you that with are deal the main family loses its power as well as any form of influence over clan members such as the right to marry outside of the clan."

"Agreed," Hiashi said. "Now you all get to your duties and prepare for the removal of the seals. Naruto, please walk with me."

Naruto did so and walked with Hiashi. They walked to the Hyuga garden that was very beautiful and peaceful.

"As the Hyuga leader I needed my daughters to be strong or she too would be forced to carry the cage bird seal." Hiashi said as Naruto listened. "That is why I always called Hinata weak when she failed and never congratulated her for succeeding. I failed as her father, but perhaps now she can live a life she always wanted."

"Is that the real reason you agreed to my deal?" Naruto asked.

"I knew you could use the Nine Tail's powers when you came to make your deal." Hiashi said. "I could have turned you away, but you were my clan's and daughter's only hope for a future. After the clan made my twin brother give up his life so I could live I never forgave the Main branch."

"Yes," Hiashi said. "But now there's hope for my clan. You plan to take my Daughter to the Whirlpool village right?"

"Yes." Naruto replied.

"Good," Hiashi said. "For what she did at the exams the Main family will want her head. Just promise me you'll take care of her."

"I promise on the honor of the Whirlpool village." Naruto said.

"Thank you," Hiashi said. "That was all I wanted to speak about. It would be best if we never spoke again and if I never see my daughter again."

"I'm sure I can make it happen to were you can come visit with out the main family knowing." Naruto said. "After all your going to be at are wedding aren't you?"

"I would love to," Hiashi said. "But how."

"I have friends in high places." Naruto said. "For now I must leave. I have a meeting with the Hokage soon."
