I try to rest as Queen Adele told me, but it is pointless. How could anyone sleep after such news? I am just too excited, filled with too many thoughts and questions. Will it be a girl or a boy? Where is his/her room gonna be? Would he/she have Maxon's eyes? I really hope so. Time flies, it happens often when you are happy, excited, moved, and it moves as slow as the separation of the continents when you are bored, sad or uncomfortable. Before I even notice, some guards come in to escort me to my room. I come in and ask the guards where Maxon is. They tell me he is just getting out of a meeting. And so I patiently wait and walk across the room, looking for several minutes at the pictures Maxon had taken with his camera of me and other things that he loves, the ones he showed me when he first took me to his room. We translated them to our room as soon as we got married. We kept all of the pictures, except, of course, the ones he took of the other selected. Suddenly the door cracks open. It is Maxon, who enters rushingly to our room. He settles all of his papers and stuff in his table. "Hey, you won't know the incredible idea that came to me in the meeting." he says and kisses me in the cheek. "Maxon I have something to tell-" "It is amazing. I think it is the key to demolish the castes, how didn't I think of it before! Okay, hear me, after we settle the-" he says fastly. I can't contain myself and so I shout "I'm pregnant." He stops and turns to me. He makes a fast smile for a second and stays where he is. "You, are,p-" "Yes Maxon, you are becoming a father."
He starts laughing, looking everywhere, his eyes glittering as I'd never seen before. He rushes towards me and takes my arms to lift me in the air. He stares at me and I at him. We look at each other realizing the happiness we feel. He kisses me in the lips and smiles at the same time. He pulls my hair backwards and I rose his chin softly with my hands. "A dad, America this is amazing, this is the best thing that has ever happened to me." I feel so happy at that moment, and happy that he is, so so happy. "I love you America" "And I love you Maxon" I say as I lay my head in his hand that had been between my neck and my arms. He smiles once more and he puts his hand in my stomach, and I put mine above his. "We'll be a family" I tell him and he hugs me. "Oh God, is it going to be a girl or a boy? I'd like a boy" "Me, too, but I prefer a girl, a daughter, my daughter." He throws me to bed and keeps looking at me, rousing his hands across my face. I press my forehead to his and he puts his hand on my back. I brush his hair and his lips touch mine. We kiss and kiss as if its the end of the world. And in that moment, I couldn't be happier.
