Going Home?

Logan just had the babies they are not even a day old yet.
Logan's P.O.V
Have you ever been in the position where you want to just curl up in a ball and crawl in a hole. That's exactly what I am feeling. It's been 6 hours since the twins were born. I have not seen them since. They had to do some test on them to make sure they are in good condition whatever that means. I get to go home today, but the babies don't. It's because of they were born a month early I guess. People don't tell me anything. Tyler hasn't been back since my mom told him to go home this morning. So I guess he fell asleep. Or he went to school. But that's besides the point the point is I'm going insane. I have been in this hospital room for over 12 hours. I need something to do. I asked my mom to bring me something to do so she brings me my songbook. What am I going to do with that? Write a song about giving birth. Haha No! It was painful enough. ''Knock Knock'' someone says opening the door. I look up and standing there is Alexis My best friend. I wave my hand motioning her to come in. She smiles and walks in the room. I ask''what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in school? She smiles a little and says''Can't a girl just come see her best friend in the hospital?'' I shake my head and reply''School School School. Who else is going to get my calculus notes written down?" She shakes her head and smiles" is that all I am to you just a note taker for calculus?" I shake my head and reply " well no because your my best friend." She ask" what? That made no sense." I chuckle " but you love me anyway. She nods and replies"sadly" I smack her on the arm. She smiles and says" so when do you get out of this hell hole?" I reply" umm hopefully today the twins not until tomorrow most likely. She nods and says" so you're officially Logan Grace Momsen how do you feel about that?" I smile " I really am happy I am able to call Tyler my husband. She smiles and replies" aw Nate and I need to get married." Nate, who is my cousin is her boyfriend he has been since the 3rd grade. She shared his cupcake with him and ever since them they have been really close. He asked her out the next day. Alexis sneezes pulling me out of my train of thought "bless you" I say she replies " thanks" I reply " so did you see Tyler at school today? She shakes her head and replies " nope he wasn't in my Spanish class today. I nod and reply" he must have fallen asleep at home." She replies " probably you know how he is." I smiles and nod. She looks at something on the table. I follow her gaze and realize it's my song book. She picks it up and says"you said you give up on writing when you found out you were pregnant you won't be able to become a musician. I look at her and reply" no I said I won't be able to become famous. I still write songs for me. There is a song in there I was going to do at the but I couldn't." The door opens and dr. Small comes in. He says" Logan you and the babies are going home now. But we need to go over their health. I nod and he replies" your son Kian well he has Down syndrome and your daughter Bianca has autism. These cases are very common. But you may have to take into caution because these cases can become very serious. You have been released so have your babies your mom is coming to take you home. I nod and he leaves. A second later my mom walks through the door and hands me a bag of something. She says" change into these." I nod and press the nurse button. The nurse comes in a second later. I ask" can you help me get up and dressed she smiles and replies" absolutely do you want them in here." I shake my head. Alexis and my mom both nod and walk out of the room. The nurse helps me up and pulls out a red and black shirt and Some black skinny jeans. I take off my gown and put on my top. Then I put on my jeans. It feels good to be out of hospital gowns. The nurse has me sit back down and says" I will be right back I have to go get you a wheelchair. I nod and she leaves. A few seconds Later. She comes back in and says" here get into the wheelchair and we will give your babies to you. I nod and smile. She pushes me out of the room and another nurse who looks like she is in her early 30's hands me both of the twins. I hold both of them in my arms. There beautiful. The nurse pushes me into the lobby and stops in front of my mom. My mom pushes me out of the hospital and I get up out of the wheelchair and put the twins in the car seats my mom put in her car. I buckle them up and get in beside them.

15 minutes later

We get to the apartment complex and go into the apartment. My mom opens the door and Tyler comes up to us. And takes Kian from me. I go into their room and put Bianca down in her crib. Tyler does the same with Kian.
