New Neighbors: Part 2

"Hey, Ryder, I see you've met Y/N, what do you two think of each other? Ya like each other?" Joe asks Ryder and I.

"Oh, Joe, you have no idea. Y/N'S awesome." Ryder says holding my hand under the kitchen table.

"I mean Ryder's really sweet and kind too Joe, so can he come over for dinner later so we can get to know each other more?" I ask Joe.

" I don't see why not as long as you have Ryder home by 12:00 at the latest, Y/N." Joe jokes knowing how we live right next door to each other so it doesn't really matter all that much.

"Ok, that's fine with me too, Y/N, but I won't be home because I going out with Joe and Mel tonight, so dinner's gonna have to be made by you kiddo." my dad comments.

         Joe and dad go to the our new house to see if they can get the plumbing fixed while Ryder and I stay here.

"Y/N, I'm so excited for tonight, you know? I've never met a girl as kind and as beautiful as you. I'm actually a little nervous though, which I know is kind of silly but I really am." Ryder admittingly mentions.

"Why are you nervous, Ryder? You don't have to be nervous, trust me." I say.

"Well it's because the few other girls I've dated were either bossing me around, ignoring me, or acting like I was nothing to them and I'm not saying that you will be like the other girls but I'm just kind of worried and I bet you don't get what I mean...." Ryder explains to me.

"I totally understand, I've experienced that same thing with the guys I've dated, but I have a good feeling about us." I say before leaning in for a kiss goodbye. 

"See you at 7:00, baby girl." Ryder says nervously. "Shit, is it okay if I call you that or is it to early?"

"No, babe, I love it." I say as I walk out the door.

Sorry this was kind of short but I will be making a part 3 and maybe even a part 4 if I don't finish it in Part 3. Please, please, please tell me what you think so far because I want to know if you like my imagines.
