Not all monsters do monstrous things

C H A P T E R 1

James P.O.V. (That's James up top^^^😍)
Hunger was all I could feel at the moment. So hungry. I needed to feed. But I was in the middle of nowhere. I felt like I was going to collapse. Then I heard a car coming from behind me.

I could feel the veins under my eyes coming out. But something stopped me from taking the person out of the car and draining their blood right then and there. The sweet smell of flowers and raspberries filled my nose. God that smell I thought.

I turned around and ran in the middle of the road and fell on my knees from exhaustion. The car stopped and I saw the most breathtaking woman come out of the car. She ran up to me and said "Hey, hey are you alright." Her voice was so smooth and it was music to my ears. I've never heard such a beautiful voice in my entire 384 years.

"I mean of course your not alright." Her voice breaking me out of my thoughts. " you just fell on the ground." I stopped her rambling when I chuckled and said, " I'm fine, I just need a ride to town. If you could give me a lift there I would be forever thankful, miss." Clearing her throat a small 'yeah' came from her roses red lips. " Thank you so much." I say in gratitude.

Stumbling up from my knees I slowly walked to her car ignoring the hunger trying to over take me. I walked over to the drivers side and opened the door for her, I am a gentleman after all. "Thank you." She said in a surprised voice. I only nodded my head and got in on the other side. It was quiet for the first few minutes.

"James," I said. "What," sounding a little startled. "James, my name I mean, my name is James." Clearing her throat, "Alice."

"That's a beautiful name." I say. "Thank you, James isn't so bad it's self." I could never get over the sound of her voice. It was such a lovely sound. "Yeah," I replied.
