C H A P T E R 7

James P. O. V
After my shower and getting dressed, I walked to the florist and got Alice a single red rose. Getting closer to the café I started getting nervous and my hands started sweating.

"Come on James, it's just Alice," I said out loud. I was across the street looking in the window seeing Alice. She was so beautiful, she was smiling down talking to Lilly, who was sitting in the chair. I used my vampire hearing other what they were talking about.

I know that it's an invasion of privacy but I couldn't help myself. "Alice's it's just James," I heard Lilly say. "I know but he makes me feel special and I'm so nervous for this date," Alice responded falling in the chair next to Lilly.

I decided that I shouldn't listen to their conversation, seeing that it was about me. Crossing the street and opening the door, a little bell sound rang. I held the rose behind my back. "Hey Alice," I exclaimed, smiling at her.

"H-Hey James," Alice stuttered. "Are you ready to go?" I asked. Nodding her head, Alice slowly walked to me. I took the rose from behind my back and handed it to her as she got closer. Taking the rose she looked at me with an unreadable expression. I was about to say something but warm, small lips pressing to my cheek stopped me.

"Thank you, James." Alice whispered. Clearing my throat a small 'welcome' came out. I intertwined my hand with Alice's and lead her out the door saying goodbye to Lilly.

Third P. O. V
James took Alice to see a movie. Which Alice enjoyed but every now and then Alice caught James looking at her and it would bring a blush to her face. Somewhere in the middle of the movie James put his arm around Alice and all too soon the movie ended but James wasn't done yet.

They both walked in the park seeing as both of them didn't want to leave each other yet. Alice felt a tug on her hand which cause her to stop walking. "Alice," James said. She turned her body towards him, Alice was now standing in front of him.

"I just wanted to thank you again. You didn't even know me and you gave me a ride to town, not everyone would do that. So thank you." James looked her straight in the eye as he said that. Alice could feel warmth spread though her body. It felt like the world around her stop as her cupped her cheek.

"Can I kiss you?" James said in a low voice that sent shivers down her spine. "Yes," she said. Slowly leaning in James moved one hand to her waist as the other was on her cheek. Alice moved her hand to his chest.

Feeling James's lips on hers was something magical, fire works went off, tingles went to her finger tips to her toes. Everything was perfect. There lips fit like a puzzle piece. Until the sprinklers came on, seeing that they were still in the park, pulling away laughing they ran to Alice's house.

Alice's P. O. V
That kiss was amazing but it ended all to soon. And as I got to my house on the front porch, I was saddened. I turned towards him, " tonight was great, thank you." I say. James looked like he didn't want to go yet. "Thank you for letting take you out." James thanked me. We didn't know what to do, so being me I said. "Um, see you tomorrow?" I questioned.

"Yeah," James said, slowly turned away and walked off my porch. I unlocked the door and went in and closed the door with my back. 'God I'm stupid.' I thought. My back still on the door I heard a knock, opening the door I felt a pair of lips on mine and the same fire works went off. James pulled away, "goodnight Alice." He said and walked away. As I stood there in a daze, touching my lips smiling.
