---Mehandi's POV---
I was still in deep shock. Who is that man and how did he come to know about Hussain and me. Is he keeping an eye on us? Did Mother have sent him? The entire journey was filled will this kind of question.
"Mehandi." My way came to a standstill with a voice I didn't expect to listen at this early in the morning.
"Yes, Mother." I turned around clutching my bottom cloth as tight as I could.
"What are you doing over here at this hour." She asked with direct expression, looking deep down into my eyes.
"N- Nothing," I reply immediately turned around avoiding the future conversation.
"Did I ask you to leave the place?" Mother again stopped me. "In Harji, Even a leaf request my permission before moving." She said coming in front of me.
"I am sorry Mother." I lowed my graze, and She chucked.
"It's ok honey." She kissed my forehead. "By the way, this happened once in a blue that my lovely princess wakes up this early." Mother complements me, and I gave her the fake smile.
"Well that's a good habit, keep it up." "Soon your are going to get married to Pratap."
"Mother, I don't want to get married." Somehow I got the power to express out the words, which I just said.
"Why." Mother asked me while the anger was building in her deep black eyes.
"B-Because I d-don't like h-him." It seems like words were not in my favor.
A small chucked escape for mother's lips and lines got formed on my forehead. "Do you think this reason will make me change my discussion?" She asked.
"N- No," I whisper.
"Hit the nail on the head." The mother chirped "Now no more question and go to your room and get ready."
I nodded and turned around to leave, when for the last time mother stop me. "Pratap's family is coming today to fix your both wedding date, so please be well prepared." With that, she left her room, and I huff out the air of relief.
I quickly run to my room and slam the door as hard as I could.
Mother can't do this to me. I can't leave without Hussain. Our destinies are crossed for a reason. We can change the map of Harji. We are the star- crossed lovers.
I make a pace toward my study table to take a pen and paper.
Hussain,
