Bletch

"Brynn I'm going to get my hover-cycle," Connor said. I nodded and he went to the Port Station to go get it. While I was waiting for him I had a strange feeling that I was being watched, I turned around and nobody was there. Maybe I'm just being Paranoid I thought to myself but once I turned back around a man was standing in front of me. He looked to be about in his 50's.

He had jet black hair, brown eyes, and he wasn't that fit but was still attractive. I wondered what he wanted but before I could question him he spoke,

" Are you Brynn Micheals?" He asked. 

" Yeah why?" I asked still unsure why was this man talking to me.

" I need your DNA," he demanded. What the hell? What kind of freak just approaches you and asks for your DNA. He could sense I was a little bit freaked out and outraged by such a demand. 

" It could save the world. You can help save the world," He said trying to reassure me. But, It wasn't working. I tried to make a run for it but I bumped into to someone. I looked up and saw it was Connor, Thank god I said to myself. 

" We have to get out of here, Connor." Connor just held on to me tight ignoring my protest to be let go and the man just laughed as he watched me struggle to get free. I couldn't believe this was happening right now and Connor was helping him.

" It's for the best Brynn," Connor said to me before everything went black. I woke up in a strange room on a metal table.  I looked at my surroundings and noticed Connor and that man from earlier talking about something. They seemed to be in a discussion before they noticed I was awake. Once they noticed the man spoke,

" Hello Brynn I'm Vojin Flecth." At least now I knew his name but seriously what did he want with me?

" What do you want from me?" I asked.

" I need your DNA because it contains something special in it. Have you ever heard of  Elysia is?" I shook my head no and he continued,

"Elysia is something that helps you conduct electricity and you have in your DNA and blood." I didn't believe for one second and he could tell so he pulled out an Xray of what appeared to be my body.

" This your body compared to a normal one. Do you see the yellow spot in yours?" I nodded.

" Well that's Elysia and normal humans don't have that."

"So what are you trying to say? I'm not human?" I asked confused about what this man was talking about and why was connor apart of this.

" No you're are human but have you something unqiue that's destined for greatness and I want help make that happen."

" Umm ok? But why?" I asked.

" You know the citys problem with Monsters right? Well if I could help you unlock your powers then you can save the world."  I thought about it for a while and agreed that I'd do it and this resulted in Mr. Fletch smiling. It made my heart skip a beat when he smiled, he said he be right back. So, that left me in the room with connor. I looked over at connor and saw him staring at me.

I'm not sure if I was supposed to be mad at Connor for letting this happen but after what Mr.Fletch explained to me. He good intentions of doing so and if he never told me the world might have been in danger.

" Im sorry Brynn I didn't know this was going to happen," Connor said rushing over to me with a sad look in his eyes . 

" It's ok Connor. I'll be saving the world and look on the brightside I'll be a superhero, I said smiling trying to lighten up the mood. This seemed to work a bit because Connor smiled and I felt nothing like I use to before when he did that. It just didn't seem to compare to Mr. Fletch smile. 

Just thinking about Mr.Fletch put a grin on my face and I could tell Connor was looking at me like I'm crazy. " Do you think I'll get a cool superhero costume, I asked". Before Connor could answer Mr. Fletch walked in with a clipboard. I wondered what was that for.

" Connor can you please step out the room for a second so I can explain to Ms. Micheals what's going to happen, Mr. Fletch said. Connor seemed hesitant about leaving me alone but I nodded reassuring him that I'd be just fine. Connor smiled and looked at me one last time before heading out that door.

"So what's up," I asked as soon as Connor left.

" Well In order to unlock your powers I'm going to need to perform surgery." 

" Ok, I said trying to remain calm. Mr. Fletch sinced that I was afraid so he put his hand on my back and said, " Brynn there's nothing to be a afraid of." I felt a sense of comfort with his hands on me and I just smiled and he smiled back. I could tell that this sugery was going to work out just fine.
