Super Smash Bros x Reader One-shots II

[Shulk: Can't keep up?]

Takumi: don't shout.
Me: I'm not shouting, it's all in caps.
Takumi: I see, my mistake.

"(Y/n)...are we there yet!?"

Shulk's cries echoed across the forest.
You had managed to get him to go hiking with you and you've been walking for more then 2 hours.
"C'mon! Just a few more miles!"
You said grinning.

Miles...? Shulk was so dead. If it wasn't for his crush on you then he would've probably declined.

"Can't we rest for a bit?" He asked.

You turned to see a red, sweaty, Shulk and probably not in the best mood to say "It's Shulk time!"

"Alright"
You set down your bags and took a drink of water.

"Why are we doing this anyway?"
Shulk asked.
"Well...many people said that if you managed to climb to the top, you'll be treated to a wonderful view of sunrise"

Oh, so that explains why it was still dark.

"Anyway! Let's go!" You grabbed his hand and helped him up from the ground.

Shulk blushed from the hand contact and followed after you.

You and Shulk finally reached the top.

"Now! We wait!"
You and Shulk set up a picnic blanket and waited.

The sun started peeling over the horizon, the dark blue sky eventually turn lighter.

"Woah" Shulk breathed out.
"I know right? Totally worth coming here"
"Yeah..."

Totally worth waking up at night.
That hiking trip was long.
