Everyone was standing outside at the wedding venue, its still an hour early before the ceremony starts. They still have some last touches and some guest waiting to arrive till it starts.
"What happened to your arm Amber?"
"Did your wife did that to you?"
"I knew she was violent but woah.. isnt that a little bit harsh?"
"Did you refused having sex to her, so she broke your arm?"
Amber was bombarded with questions as her bandage arm was exposed by her folded polo that cant be left unnoticed by everyone. Judging from the lenth of the bandage, that originately starts from her wrist to her lower elbow, it was a very long wound.
"This is the NTH time I was asked with the same question." Amber heaved a sigh. "So everyone who wanted to know why I had a bandage, listen to me, I'll tell this one last time,and no one will ask again, okay?" Everyone nodded and gathered around Amber as they attentively anticipate what's the story behind Amber's bandaged-arm.
"So it happened four days ago, the day before we flew here, so its still hurt and fresh.." She paused as she swatted Key's hand which was obviously trying to touch it. "hands off please."
"Come on Amber, we aint got forever here."
"Oh right right.. So back where I was, We woke up early, eat breakfast before we packed.."
"Cut the crap, start where it happened."
"Geez people, so demanding."
"We dont need to know unnecessary details."
Amber rubbed the back of her neck as she continued telling them the story.
*FLASHBACK*
Amber was bathing her lovable chow chow dog. She will be away for a week, and she doesnt want to burden any of her household companions to bath Fluffy cause she know what mood swing the cute dog has. Amber loves Fluffy so much cause she reminds her of Krystal. Fluffy hates people, specially new faces. She tends to growl at them and bark at them. Though she wasnt really scary, cause she is cute and huggable, still she is big and can be dangerous sometimes. Fluffy is a smart dog, and she amazes Amber so much, she knows who's her owner and who's not. She's playfull and sweet but only to Amber. No one can go near her aside from her. Amber believes that dogs are naturally smart so she knows that the dog understands her. Specially about bond and relationship.The dog know what Amber is to her.
And another thing that amazes Amber so much is that Fluffy seems to hate Krystal. The filipino saying "ang magnanakaw ay galit sa kapwa magnanakaw" is true. Cause Fluffy and Krystal is so much alike. They both hate people and cold towards them but only because they were both socially awkward. Fluffy was raised alone in cage.. her previous owner doesnt really give a damn about her and when Amber saw her three years ago, she immediately bought her to her owner, or more to say freed her. That's how their bond started. Fluffy was jealous of Krystal, cause she was the first girl that the dog saw that clings to Amber. She always growls and barks at her, even if Krystal was many feet away from Amber, as long as she sees the girl in the picture, she wont stop barking.
"Hey girl, I'll be away for a week. Can you behave and guard the house for me?" Amber asked the dog as she applied onto her the shampoo. The dog barked and Amber took it as a yes.
"Can you also be a little bit nicer to Krystal? You know, Our relationship is better now. So you dont have to be overprotective of me." Amber said and the dog whined and Amber found it funny.
"You know she's my wife right? So please?" Amber said still appling shampoo on the dogs furry body. The dog whined again. Ambr laughed. Then the dog barked.
