The Darkness Within

Chapter 2

"At 2 a.m. last night an officer and chief of the Tokyo PD where killed by lighting strikes hitting them. Officials aren't sure if this is the true story but this is the only logical explanation we have at the moment. In ot-"

Kazuto looked at the TV after pausing it baffled at what he had seen.

"This doesn't make sense what could have hurt those men?.." Kazuto asks himself.

After about an hour Shino comes out and walks into the living room to see kirito sitting there with his hands in his hair going slowly insane as he tries convincing himself that there was no way it was a magical spirit.

"Kazuto!" Shino yells and runs over hugging him and rubbing his back.

"Shhh, your okay sweetie don't worry.."

After a few hours Kazuto calmed down and was breathing slowly. He smiled and stood up leading he and his wife to the kitchen for him to now make them lunch.

In another part of town

Silica dressed in a robe walks down a dark ally and leans against a wall waiting for someone to come outside and meet her. After a few minutes a man with a scare across his eye walks out and looks at her.

"What do you want Silica.." The man said in a raspy horse voice.

"You know what I want.. This lighting power.. suit.. thing.. is a piece of shit unless I get that energy source. Whatever you call it, but anyways I need some more I'm out please!"

The man hesitantly looked at her and made a motion with his hand to follow her. They both walked to a wall and Silica looked confused but the man hit a few bricks and then a door opened up leading down under ground. Silica grinned as they reached the bottom floor and laughed maniacally.
