He scoffed, breaking the eerie silence held hostage in the room. He had all our attention, whether it was his intention to, I don't know but he had it now. He walked towards me, that made me stiffen a bit.

He was thinking, I could tell, about what exactly?

I probably looked like a total mess, maybe that's why he was staring. And maybe I was ugly to him too. Was I dirty in his eyes?

Another long stride towards me and I swallowed the enormous lump of saliva that had formed inside of my mouth without my notice.

He grinned at me when he was no more than a foot from me, a scary kind of grin.

A single tear managed to escape from the corner of my left eye when i stared up to the unphased man before me. He didn't hold any emotion and he seemed to have cared less if i was hurt.

"Adrian, that is no way to treat-"

"My wife?! If she's going to be MY wife then none of you have the right, to tell ME, what do to with her. I do what i want with what's mine!" He said interrupting his father.

He came at me again but nobody seemed to want to get involved so they watched him as he grabbed me by the arm and forcefully brought me to my feet. He looked away from me, staring at his father through the corners of his eyes.

"Where does she stay?" He asks, his tone a lot calmer.

"Your bedroom."

"Until when?" He questions once more.

"Till the wedding and after that."...
