Maddies POV.
As usual, I was woken up by Emily's alarm clock. it was humming the tune of teddy picker, ems favorite song. Emily got up and went into her closet to find something to wear to school. Suddenly, I heard a yell, "for fucks sake why does this always happen!" Emily yells as she stubs her toe on the dresser. "maybe you should watch where the hell youre going." I say back. "whatever." Emily says back with a light smirk on her face. As she sorts out her toe situation, I run to the bathroom before jacob or Sam,
(Emily's brothers) could beat me to it.
"Maddie I swear to god if you don't let me have the bathroom I'll fucking punch you.." Sam yells. "oh shut the hell up, Im a girl so I should go first." I say back. "stop the cursing you two" lora called from downstairs.
after getting ready, me and Emily walked out the front door, headed to the bus stop. It was November, so it was quite chilly. The leaves blow from the piles that people made in their front yards. Neighbors checking their mail in their pajamas. it was the normal Friday morning in the life of Emily and Maddie in a small town in Ohio. As we were walking, Emily got a call from her boyfriend of 2 years, Alex Turner. she looked at the caller ID and smiled lightly knowing he wanted to talk to her. They were so cute together. Alex is in a band called Arctic Monkeys. its gotten quite popular lately due to a new album they just release called "AM". "hey Alex" Emily said as she clicked speaker.
"Alright"
"Why do you always say that, i swear to god"

"Whatever" she said annoyed and i laughed.
"Ill be waitin for you n maddie after school." Alex said in his deep sheffield accent.
"Dont smoke on school property again, Mr. Padilla already yelled at you twice and sooner or later you wont be able to pick us up anymore." She answered.
Ironic how emily talks about alex not smoking while you can hear him lighting a cigarette through the phone, i thought to myself.
I shook my head at the thought and alex continued.
"Youre so good" alex laughed through gritted teeth and hung up.
Emily clicked her phone off.
"Dick."
Felix's POV
Who was that girl that walked with her every day? I watched them from afar in curiosity.
"Ill see her soon." I whispered out loud.
