Everything rushed back to me. I was conscious and alive, I think. My eyes were flooded with nothing but the brightness of a white room. Everything was silent.

          "What?.....Where am I?" I stuttered out.

The events of that evening hit me like wrecking ball. Anger mixed with fear and confusion took over me. I stood up and tried to hit one of the walls. It was clear that there was no way out, I was trapped.

I scanned the rest of the room and the only thing was a large black screen that covered one of the walls. I went over to it and looked to see if I could use it. There was no switch, no wires, anything. I jumped when the screen suddenly turned on.

It was me, lying down. Dead. I was covered in blood, I looked so lifeless. I was paralyzed in fear, it didn't make sense. I-I thought I was alive. Looking down I saw that I was wearing the same outfit that was on the screen but, clean. The same charcoal blazer and black business pants. My button up shirt is the same. Every detail of my outfit was the same even down to the customized bracelet my father gave me. I felt an overwhelming wave of sadness and terror. Then, I realized my throat was cut on the screen. With trembling hands I slowly went up to my neck. Nothing.

The screen cut to a lady wearing an F.B.I jacket and talking on a cellphone.

"Yeah, a neighbor called and said there was a disturbance. I'm going to go do a wellness check," she stated clearly.

She was in front of my house. She was knocking on my door. My door was unlocked, so after a few knocks she opened it.

"This is the police, we are here to do a wellness check." The officer said loudly.

There was no answer so she took out her gun and scanned the first floor. The woman went up the stairs and stated that she was here to see if I was ok. She opened my bathroom and saw nothing so she went down the hall into my room. I was glued to screen even though I knew what she was going to see. She opened my room and saw the horror scene.

"I'm going to need back up and an ambulance now" She said to the person on the other line.

But there was no point in getting an ambulance, there was no point in saving me,  I was dead.
