"Heeeey, what's up, fairy queen Niall?"
Niall Horan sighed as he heard two, rough familiar voices say his name. He groaned in pain as his frail body was slammed against a locker by two rough, big hands. He looked up to see his bullies, a couple of bulky basketball players with buzz cuts and wearing matching black leather jackets. He tried to get away but was slammed once more against the locker.
The taller one of the jocks, a guy with thick eyebrows and red hair, laughed. "Where you goin', pretty boy?"
His companion, a teen with chapped lips and brown hair, smirked. "Yeah. Don't leave..." He reached out to touch Niall, but he pulled away. "We aren't done with you yet. The fun's just begun. 'Kay, blondie?"
"J-just... L-let me go... L-leave me alone, p-please." Niall muttered in response, eyes filled with fear and worry as he looked up at the two jocks. "Listen, stutter boy, I said," The brunette beside him growled. "We're not leaving without having a little fun with you..." Niall grew teary-eyed. "Leave me alone, Jason." He whimpered, eyes pleading as he looked up at the brunette. The redhead holding Niall smirked.
"Should we, Darren?" Jason asked, glancing at the redhead. Darren pretended to think about it, then shook his head. "Nah." He smirked. "That wouldn't be fair, now would it, Nialler?" Niall sighed and closed his eyes, clenching his fists, preparing himself for what would come.Minutes later, Niall was on the ground, his hair messed up, his eyes red from crying, the books he had carried in his arms scattered around the floor. He held his head in his hands, sobbing softly, feeling angry and hurt.
He regretted doing it. He regretted everything.
He wouldn't be in this position right now if it didn't happen. He sniffed, remembering the night that ruined his life. Remembering the night at that wretched Ashe Cole's house. Ashe Cole was the most popular guy in St. Peter High School. He had everything. Good looks, high IQ, the captain of the cheer team as his girlfriend.
He was captain of the basketball team, president of the school council, president of the debate team. He was the most wanted guy in school, he charmed everyone, dazzling them with his sparkling, sapphire blue eyes and spiky coal black hair, similar to an anime character's hairstyle.
He was known for throwing extravagant late-night parties at his parents mansion.
One night, when his parents were on a business trip in Paris, he threw a party. It was a typical teen party. Drugs, sex, alcohol and smokes. Except everything was expensive and of the best quality. Niall had been invited, he went alone, just in time to see a Truth-or-Dare game being played in the huge living room by a group of teens he knew.
He was invited to play, and after a few pleas from a couple of his peers, he reluctantly joined.
Some eyebrows were raised when he sat down, because a few didn't like him, they suspected him to be gay.
And 'differents' weren't liked, respected, welcomed or accepted in St.Peter High.
Some suspected that Niall was gay because he never had a girlfriend, never had a crush on a girl, he dressed in light, and sometimes bright, colors, his clothes were always soft and cottony and looked like they were made for women. He was a little bit on the feminine side. He hated to get dirty, he was always clean, he liked romance a bit too much, he liked to cook and garden and sew, and so on.
But they didn't have any real proof that he was gay, so they couldn't exclude him from anything, or really hate him.
'But that was the night that changed everything...' Niall thought bitterly, tears running down his cheeks.
