Ch. 10

I ran into someone in the forest area and we fell. Looking down I saw Grayson.
He looked straight at me and said "how did you get to be with Notch"
"Oh correction I'm staying with him" I responded trying not to laugh at his face
He was stuttering "w-wha h-ho huh?"
By this time I was laughing so hard and Notch was walking up behind me. He handed me something and looked depressed.
"He told me to give you this" Notch said to me
"Who?"
"You'll find out when you open it"
I opened the box Grayson looking at notch speechless and Notch trying not to cry.
There was a shark tooth necklace. It looked like Collin's. There was also a note that read
Dear Armen
If you are reading this you have gone to notch and I'm long gone. I believe you should know the truth if you haven't figured it out already. I am gone but not fully. What was left of my conscious got transferred to the closest living thing, which happened to be an enderman. Armen what is left of me is with Drake. He was made with the last of my conscious to do what I failed to do, protect you. I'm sorry I'm the worst brother in the whole world. I'm sorry I was just in your way and weak. I couldn't do anything to save you and protect you. I hope even though it is a slim chance I hope you can forgive me for being a failure. Take my necklace and keep it. I know you always loved it. I love you Armen. Stay safe.

By now I was in tears. You weren't a failure to me Collin, you were my savior. Notch walked over to me and just gave me a hug. I cried on his shoulder. By now Grayson had left to go somewhere. I grabbed the necklace and put it around my neck, holding to tooth tight.
"You going to be ok?" Notch asked
I nodded.
"I'll meet you at the castle then?"
I just nodded again then walking to the market. I walked around till I saw Grayson, Drake, and Mia.
It looked like Grayson was trying to tell them something but couldn't find the right words. I turned around and distracted myself with a weaponry place. I heard people walking up behind me. I guessed it was them but pretended that I didn't notice anything reaching for the necklace. Looked like I would be getting a new habit.
"Armen?" I heard Grayson ask.
I responded "hm" not able to talk without bursting in tears. I was ok with Drake but what really got to me was Collin saying he was a failure of a brother.
"Are you ok?" He must have read the note. They knew. I nodded not looking at them. "Look at us and say that your ok."
I couldn't talk I couldn't find the words.
I felt 3pairs of arms wrap around me. I was still holding the necklace letting them do whatever. He called himself a failure. He thinks he was weak, but he saved me. He gave me Drake. Gave me company. And most importantly, he was there when I needed him. Wether he was possessed or not he was always by my side. Collin has come to control quite a few times. I knew he was in control now. I felt him. He was near. I struggled out of the grip of everyone and ran into the forest. I needed to tell Collin he wasn't a failure. He never was a failure. I saw him. He was in control.
Drake Grayson and Mia were following me and when they saw him they all drew weapons. Grayson tried to grab me but I was to fast. I ran to him. I ran to my brother. It might be the last time I ever get to talk to him. He embraced me and I felt my shoulder getting wet. I whispered in his ear "your not a failure or the worst brother. You were always there when I needed you. Even if you couldn't come close you were always near. Your presence gives me reassurance Collin. I love you."
Collin started talking. The first time in a long time I actually hear his voice again. "Armen, you are the best brother I could ever ask for. I wish I could stay with you but I have limited time and there is something important I need to tell you but you can never tell anyone the truth. Drake isn't a natural enderman. He is the son of herobrine. He is a brine. He was trying to get away from his father and shifted into a enderman so his dad couldn't find him at the same time Herobrines devil was possessing me. While Drake protects you, you need to protect Drake from Hero. If you need to, start talking about the truth to catch him of guard.  I have to go but remember I love you." He disappeared. I've talked to Collin many times from the basement but not once in the outside and real world. I always am going to a different dimension to talk to him. Plus his voice was always staticky when we talked. This is the first time in a long time his voice clear and I could actually physically touch and hug him. I sighed staring at were my brother was standing where my brother was standing only moments ago letting everything he just said process through my head. What I didn't know is that the devil was just a few paces away and that's why Collin just now told me instead of keeping it a secret.
