As the children ran, I picked up their mother. Her legs crushed by the wood that had fallen on her. As I looked her in the eyes, she looked me in the eyes. We froze for a split second, she went cold.
As I reached for her head, I let her take one last look at her children, one last time to say goodbye. As she spoke these words, " Mikasa.. Erin, I want you to know, I love you. Mikasa.. Take care of him.. Erin, I want you to become the best scout you can be... Keep the key your father gave you close to you.. I love you both.." She said it in the weakest voice I had ever heard..
Then, I took no time to pull off her head.. And eat her as if she, were a grape. You could see Erin and Mikasa's face. Erin with anger that could burn a hole through you. Mikasa trying to stay calm, not break out into a rage, almost as bad as her brothers.
