Rose had finally came to the end of her rope. She sat in her room and cried for hours. She finally got up and went to the bathroom with the blade in her hand she only had one thing on her mind. Death. She locked the door behind her knowing this will be the last of her. She played music loud so no one could hear her cries with each cut. She continued more and more, the blood falling from her body she watched as it covered her. As soon as she was going to do the last cut of her life, the one that would have killed her for sure, she heard her phone go off. Rose reached for her phone as the name Dean appeared from the screen.
Dean was this guy she had met while out with friends one night. Rose found him oddly different, in a way she found mesmerizing. His words and overall personality drew Rose to him like a bee to a flower. Rose liked him but felt as if she was poisonous to him, because he was to good for her. She felt like every time they spoke it was like he could see right through her fake smile and see her pain. Little did she know he did.
"How are you Rose?" the message read "Hope everything is alright."
She dropped to the ground and began to cry once more. Before answering his text she took the blade and held it in her hand staring at it, she threw it at a wall and yelled as loud as she could.
"Hey Dean" she replied "everything is going good, how are you?"
"I'm doing good," he instantly responded "Are you sure everything is okay?"
Rose finally stopped lying to him and told him she was not well, Dean called her up and they spoke on the phone for hours on end. When they ended the conversation Rose felt something different, something she never knew she could feel. She felt loved, and cared for, something she never felt before. With this whenever she felt down she would talk to Dean for he made her feel like she meant something. Dean shows her new things that can help her through hard times.
At times Rose would not listen to him or let him help, she felt like it was a trap at times, like she was just imagining she could be happy. That did not stop Dean, he continued and did not let her fall. He knew how she felt, he knew her pain. To Rose that was something she could not understand, how he knew just how to help. She tried not to fall in love with him for she knew she would never be good enough for him. But for the more they talked and the more she got to know Dean little by little she fell for him.
