Chapter one

"My name is Rose, Rose Salvatore". "I am just the average teenage girl living in Canada....well used to be average. "This is the story about me and how I well turned into a mystical creature". "Yes I am telling the truth a MYSTICAL CREATURE is what I turned into". "You may be thinking this book is just another fantasy story but I speak nothing but the truth!"

"Now let's go back in time to the good old days where I had nothing to worry about".

"It was 7:00 in the morning on a Friday, I had just woken up and had to get ready for school". "I was tired because I got a 3 hour sleep last night because I was up talking to my best friend till 4 in the morning". "I know what your thinking...well that's your fault Rose you should have went to bed earlier". "It was important I swear we were having a long conversation about monkeys.....yes monkeys, he can ramble about anything but I sill love him". "I jumped out of bed like the cheerful person I usually am in the morning and got in the shower". While I did my makeup I thought about the dream I had the previous night". "I have had dreams where I am running down the street blood thirsty, chasing someone or something ever since I was a child". "I have also had ones where I was being chased by creepy moans and groans". "Every kid has nightmares right?" I grabbed my backpack and jumped in my car driving off to my school". "My whole drive there I could have sworn I was being followed but I was sure it was just my dream getting to me".
"I sat through a long boring math class then finally it was lunch". "I ran to my cafeteria table where my group of friends were sitting". "I have always been the more preppy one of the bunch the rest of them are pretty rough, they almost look like street fighters". "My group consists of 3 guys and 2 girls besides for me." 1 of the girls are tougher then the boys the other one is softer then me". "The 3 guys in my group are Aiden who is the guy I was on the phone with last night we are as close as can be, we had a thing going on for a while and it's still not completely over yet we still have feeling for each other to an extent". "Roger who is like a brother to me and is dating Sierra who is the soft girl I was telling you about earlier". "Jake who is a friend and is dating the rough girl named Hannah". "I personally don't like Hannah". "All of my friends have scary scars on every part of their body they look like they have been in lots of fights, they are pretty aggressive and really protective of me". "Whenever I ask them about it they say we will tell you when you are ready". I sat down and began chewing my sandwich slowly still thinking about my dreams". "I have never told any of my friends about them because I didn't want them to think I was crazy". "Aiden looked at me right away like he always does with that love sick grin on his face but he gave me a frown noticing I was upset". "Rosie after school you and I are going out to dance it's a Friday night and I need to cheer you up Aiden said". "I could never resist dancing so I said sure I'll come". "He then took my books in his strong muscular arms and walked me to my next class". "On our way there Drake a super cute senior boy smiled and said hey Rosie". "I smiled, blushed, and said hey Drake then continued to walk down the hallway". "Aiden gave Drake a really dirty look they never seemed to get along". "I have always had a little bit of a crush on Drake but I know it would never work out he is to much of a bad boy for me". "Drake has more scars on him then any of my friends and he has gotten into lots of fights at school, he has even been suspended for putting a guy in the hospital". "Aiden sighed as David walked away and said to me why do you even say hi to that guy?" "Aiden I say hi to everyone I claimed making sure to make a point to say hi to everyone we passed". "When we reached my class I stuck my tongue out at him and opened the door". "He yelled Rosie keep that pretty little tongue in your mouth or I will put it to good use". "Laughing we both walked away".
"After school I walked home to my pretty little house and ran into my room that has lots of twilight posters on it". "I started singing and dancing around my room while I was getting ready to go out with Aiden, while admiring the big strong werewolf on my wall". "My mom came in and asked me how school was, I love my mom, her and I are very close". "My mom then helped me with my hair while I touched up my lip gloss then I waited for the doorbell to ring". "While I sat there looking pretty on my bed I heard faint whispers saying Rosie, Rosie, Rosie, it had to be from the dream so I tuned it out by turning up the music". "Then I saw something a large shadowy figure walking through my backyard. I screamed as it got closer and closer to my bedroom window, all what I had to help me was pictures of hot twilight guys!" "Then I heard the doorbell and I screamed again, the shadowy figure froze and faded away". "It had to be my imagination what else could it be?" I thought while trying to calm myself down". "I was still shaking by the time I got to the door". "I looked through the peep hole to make sure it was really Aiden and not what I saw in the backyard". "What I saw was disappointing just a boring Aiden". "Well maybe not 100% boring he did look really hot in that dress shirt he was wearing". "He must have seen my head through the window or heard me talking to myself, because he yelled Rose if you don't open the door in 3 seconds I am going to break down the door and tickle you till you cry". "I immediately opened the door shrieking no!" "He then entered taking a split second to say I look pretty, then picking me up by the waste carrying me to the car saying once we get there you will get it". "I started squealing and laughing and yelling at him to put me down". "Once we got to the car he said see your cheering up already". "Until he said that I had forgotten what had freaked me out a couple of minutes ago". "He must have seen my face change because a wash of concern hit him". "The rest of the way we just sang Britney Spears songs laughing so hard the car swerved a few times, he had just gotten his licence".
"Once we got to the bar downtown we sat in one of the booths and drank tequila shots". "The bar was modern, and smelt like cologne and alcohol". "Want to dance? Aiden asked me". "Of course I responded taking his hand fast dancing to a song I never heard". "We were having a blast". "We danced and danced till 1 in the morning, I could have danced longer but he was starting to get tired out and he had too many tequila shots". "We jumped into to the car I could tell he was drunk so I told him I would drive". "I took a wrong turn and didn't notice till I had absolutely no idea where I was". "Aiden yelled Rose can you stop the car". " I said uh ok and the cars wheels squeaked as I came to a fast stop on the side of a deserted road". "He told me to stay in the car and not to move a muscle, then he started spraying me with his cologne". "I thought that he was still drunk so I told him to stay in the car". "His response back was I have to deal with something stay there and ended with him opening the door and running out". "From a distance I saw the dark shadowy figure moving closer and closer to Aiden". "I couldn't stop screaming I was terrified I wouldn't let that thing hurt my best friend". "Aiden then started punching it the shadowy figure would fall back so that proved to me that it was actually there". "I had to see what it was and I had to help Aiden so I jumped out of the car ripped the bumper off the car and charged at the figure". "As I got closer I saw a person shaped creature with pale skin, rotten teeth, ripped clothes and skin, the dreadful looking thing growled, groaned and grunted at Aiden". "I was petrified when I saw its teeth sink into Aidens neck". "Aiden with blood gushing out of his beautiful neck looked up to see me slay the zombie right through its heart with the car bumper". "Now that the creature was gone I could deal with Aidens bloody neck". "I took off my jacket wrapping it around the wound to stop the bleeding". "Aiden told me to get the gummy bears out of his pocket and to feed him one". "I yelled Aiden now is not the time for gummy bears". "Aiden yelled back just do it". "After things were calm and Aiden had devoured his gummy bear I said what the hell just happened?".
