We got to the skate rink, it's inside and Loren and I were putting on our skates. Not many high schoolers go, mainly junior high kids go so it was nice knowing no one knew who I was or what I do. "Ready to get on the rink or do you want something to drink or eat first" she shook her head and we got on the rink. Out of instinct I started to skate backwards and reached for her hand for support, but then I realized we didn't know one another very well. "If you want to hold my hand you need to buy me pizza first." Loren said laughing a bit, I blushed and said "sorry it's a force of habit I need support usually, but if you want pizza I can buy a whole one." She looked at me like a little kids in a toy store, I couldn't help but laugh. "Alright let's go get it." I grabbed her hand and skated to the concession stands and and ordered a cheese pizza and two blue slushes. "That'll be $20.30" I gave it to her and then she handed me a slip of paper, it had her number on it, I just stuck it in my pocket. I was going to throw it away when I had the chance. I sat down in front of Loren. "So, where are you from exactly?" "I moved from California." "Really why may I ask." "Damn formal much and my dad and mom got a divorce my mom wanted the house my dad wanted me so we moved here." If I haven't mentioned it before we're in Wisconsin. "Well that sucks, hope you like snow. We get a lot of it." "Yeah I like snow, my grandparents live her so I'm use to it." I just nodded and notice the stuff was ready so I went to get it. I sat back down and she took like 4 slices at once. "Well some ones hungry haha, we could have gone to a pizziaria if you really wanted pizza." She shook her head," no I wanted to skate slightly more private and I don't think your groopies would know you're here soo..." I was a little taken back, groopies, well that's a new one. "Yeah they don't know about this place just my friend Andie." "Out of curiosity but why do you... uh.. do what you do. " I waited a little to think if I really wanted to tell her the whole story or not.
