I loved hearing tales of old
from before the world went cold
but I'm also torn
they said it was warm
they got sun w/o a fee
they didn't deserve that luxury
people walk around w/ heat
what a tease
relaxing and comfy while us regulars
freeze
their life was a breeze
it must be nice
away from the ice
and still they complain
while we freeze in pain
everything to gain
it wasn't always like this
not always first on Jack Frost's hit list
people used to be able to fish
that was until
humanity went downhill
and civilization froze
literally
those people have blankets
give them to me
I'm freezing to death
we're all that's left
so listening to those memories
keeps me from dropping to my knees
and so I plead
give some warmth to me
