Stranger at Work

Well just like every other Friday, I drove to the stables down the road from my house. When I got there I saw a car I didn't recognize, but I shrugged it off. I got to work feeding and grooming the horses. As I began brushing down a horse named Delta I heard someone behind me say "Ya know I can brush my own horse, I know you are busy." I turned to see a man I had never seen before. He was about 6ft and was slightly more muscular then the average guy. Me, being the 5ft shorty that I am was slightly intimidated by his presence. I looked up to him and said "yeah I know, I've never seen Delta with anyone, do you come here often?" I asked not trying to sound rude but truly wanting to know. "Nah, not as much as I'd like." He says while he begins grooming his horse. I smile and say goodbye and carry on with my job. Once I finally finished everything I needed to do, I walked back to my car and on the way I saw that guy riding Delta. He looked like he was really enjoying himself. He waved and me and came trotting up on Delta. "I'm sorry, my names Josh by the way" "My name is Jane, and this might sound weird but do I know you?" I said in a confused tone. "You might recognize me, if you watch Pro-Football" he said nonchalantly. "BINGO" I said a bit too loud "You play for the Carolina Panthers, don't you?" "BINGO" He said copying me. We both laughed and I told him I'd see him around and walked the short way left to my car. Once I got in my car I noticed how happy I felt, for no reason. I decided my random fling of intense happiness was because of Josh. I drove home and ate dinner, took a shower and went to bed.
