Friday comes around slower than usual. I get to the stables and I recognize all the cars. I sigh knowing Josh was not there. I go about my business like I always do. Since the days were getting longer I still had plenty of sunlight left. I decided to go riding, so saddled up a horse named Fly. Fly had always been a pain in the ass, but that's why I liked him, I enjoyed the challenge. He was behaving well until I tried to get him into a gallop. He must have been feeling lazy or something because he is called Fly for a reason; he was ALWAYS running around. I decided to back off and give him a break. I let go of the reigns and left myself at his mercy, enabling him to take me wherever he pleased.

After putting Fly up I walked to my car. As I was driving up the road I saw the unfamiliar car with the familiar face. Josh saw me and beeped his horn and I waved. Ignoring everything my body told me I still went home, even though I wanted to turn around and go back. That night I played in bed thinking of how someone who barley knows me has gotten me so caught up. All I know is that there is an attraction, and I can only hope that it is mutual.
