Don't let the Titans bite

Part 1 || introduction

Alessia's POV

"Can't this boat go any faster??" I ask the captain of the boat.

"Quit your complaining or I'll throw you overboard." He says and steers the boat.

This is gonna take forever

I think to myself as I sit on the boat with many other passengers. I'm trying to get to my hometown. Titans have overrun the place and I want to help my friends and family- if they're still alive.

I should probably introduce myself. I'm Alessia Arlert. My adoptive parents died and really, my only family now is my brother Armin. I was adopted(obviously) so Armin and I don't look the same. But we are the same age. My biological parents are somewhere else, I don't even know them.

All of my friends from my childhood are back there too. Aliyah, Jaiden, and Thea. They're probably trying to get into the survey corps. I definitely would expect Thea to be good with swords. She's very precise and pays attention to little details. Aliyah is just plain smart, she'd probably help with planning stuff, and Jaiden would probably help with running the training. She's good at directing and being in charge. What am I good at? Can't say, I don't know what I'm good at. Hopefully I'll find out.

"We're here! Get up!" I hear as I feel the boat come to a stop.

"I'm here! I'm here!" I yell as I run off of the boat, and quickly enter the walls, trying to get to the center where my friends probably were.

I run as fast as I can, and slam into someone.

"OW!" I yell as I rubbed my head, trying to recover from the collision.

"Can't you see I'm trying to kill the Titans! What's wrong with you?!?!" I hear the boy I bumped into say.

I look up and gasp "Eren! I haven't seen you in like centuries!!" I say and jump onto him and hug him.

"Wow, sorry I came off a bit rude.. I missed you!" He says and smiles.

"I missed you too... How has Armin been??? What about all of my friends??" I ask.

We talk about them all as we search for them and greet some people I knew before I left.

How could I forget you tell you guys! Eren was me and Armin's best friend before I left, and we did everything together. Mikasa was also my friend, she spent most of the time beating up everyone who messed with us.

We finally found the rest of the crew and we all went in for a group hug.

"I missed you all so much." I say.

"We missed you too!" Armin says and wipes away his tears.

And just as I was about to hug him, a giant arm came through the last wall and caused total chaos.

Everyone screamed and ran for their lives, which was a little hard considering the fact that if we went out of the walls, without gear of course, our chances of living would be very small.

We watched the survey corps fly through the air and make their way to the outer wall.

"That's gonna be us some day" I say.
