Chapter 3

James' P.O.V

My hands reached for the bowl of popcorn I was preparing. "All Im saying is that if you love someone THAT much, then why would you cheat on them?" I sprinkled white cheddar flavoring over the bowl, mixing it in carefully. "I know, but everyone makes mistakes. He was confused and lonely, it's not his fault." I grabbed the bowl and headed for my room. "But it is his fault! Kurt didn't deserve that, even if he was away in New York." Harry countered, his eyes focused on the text book in front of him. "I know he didn't, but Blaine was so sorry-"

"It doesn't matter! He's ruined the trust between them. They're never going to be the same, and it's all his fault!" He continued. "Calm down-"

"I am calm! I'm super calm!"

"No Harry, your "super" not!" I settled into my computer chair, opening my school file. "I'm calm, I'm chill, really. I'm just upset that stupid Blaine had to cheat on stupid Kurt while he was in stupid New York and ruin my favorite relationship!" I giggled a bit before responding.

"Harry your sounding like a chick, you should really lay off the Glee for a while-"

"NO! YOU CAN'T TAKE MY GLEE! I WON'T LET YOU!" He yelled, defensively grabbing the season 1-3 combo pack I had bought him last Christmas. "I'm starting to wish I never got you hooked on that show..." I said with a sigh, concentrating back on my computer screen.

"She prayed to the sky

For guidance to help her through

This hell she calls life"

Once I was satisfied with my haiku I saved the page and sent it to my printer. I picked up the still warm, freshly printed paper and put it in my binder. I placed it on my bed where Harry sat, perched over his science book. "I need to go get my textbook, do you need anything from downstairs?" I asked, grabbing a handful of the flavored popcorn and putting it in my mouth. The kernels crunched in my mouth perfectly disguised by the blinding taste of cheese. "Just come share mine, save you the trip." He said, sitting up and patting the space next to him. I took the popcorn bowl in my right hand before crawling next to him, snuggling up on his lap. My attention turned to the book, mindlessly eating popcorn as I read.

The T.V blared through the speakers on my wall. I lay on my bed, wrapped in Harrys arms resting my head on his chest. I felt the steady beat of his heart against my body, listening to his light snoring. The empty popcorn bowl along with 2 bottles of Coke and a candy package sat scattered on my desk. Harry had dozed off halfway through the second episode of The Big Bang Theory. I let him sleep since there was no point in waking him up. My mom would return later in the evening and until then we had the house to ourselves.

Being careful not to wake him I slipped out of his grasped and made my way downstairs. First I threw out our garbage and took the empty bowl down to be washed. I filled a pot with boiling water and placed it on the stove. My fingers fumbled around the cabinet until I found the box of lemon tea. I took some water off the stove, placing it in a mug before adding the tea bag. My feet shuffled across the tiles to the pantry, taking the bag of hot chocolate mix off the shelf. I made Harry a cup of hot chocolate before putting the mugs on the counter to cool down.

I turned to the sink letting the tap run until there was just enough water to place the dishes inside. I added a few drops of dish soap to the sink before starting to polish one of the larger bowls.
