Disclaimer: All the real names of places, people and events have been altered or abbreviated to protect the innocent. Namely, me.

The story I'm about to tell you happened not so long ago, somewhere not so far away from here. I decided to tell you about it mostly because of my desire to listen to it all over again, but also to enlighten you on how a story always has two sides to it and how most times there isn't a right one.

Growing up most people always had a group, some friends you talked to everyday or were just loners. I like to say I was able to do both. I never had that one friend you could trust with your life but I listened to everyone and kind of stablished what I thought from there.

Have you ever had that friend you trusted a whole lot but then heard so much stuff about you couldn't even make up your mind on what you thought of them? Was the friend the bad person they told you or was it just a jealous misunderstanding? Who to trust?

I don't really know. Do you? To love or to hate this person who in this story goes by the name of Jules?

-Jay

PS: Even though it is some kind of preview to this story, keep in mind what you read above was not a chapter or "written by a character". It doesn't have anything to do with the start of the story. There won't be a POV even related to what I think for a long time.

Dedicated to @LittleLostSoul cause her stories are amazing and she knows age doesn't matter

Before I start this story I'd like to make some stuff clear.

1. This is PG-13 and I will cuss.

2. In this book the main character aka Jules is 13 years old on 2011 (the year the story starts) and 15/16 in 2013 that is the year when it finishes and also the year in which the prologue and some other parts are written. Before you go all "she's-just-thirteen" on me just listen for a moment: even though you may think in that age you can't possibly write or live something merely exciting think back to when you were thirteen and you'll probably notice your head maybe wasn't oh-so-innocent back there. I'm not 13 and I'm writing this the same way. If even what I say can't bring you to think that age is appropriate enough please think of Alison DiLaurentis (who was 13 when she died and had done a fair amount of shit before that happened) or even Percy Jackson who was 12 in the 1st book.
