I got to the studio and ran down to the staff room for our morning meeting. Caralyn stood there with her hands behind her back and a smile on her face.
"Staff, welcome!" She said. Her staff had quit years ago so she hired me josh kirae carina kaylee and luca. I sat down on a chair and our my bag beside me as well as everyone else.
"As you all know, I was down at broadway for a week." She said with that harsh French accent.
"And they are recruiting dancers....
So I booked you all auditions!"
She exclaimed we all jumped up and freaked out. Broadway?! This is my dream! We were all hugging and celebrating.
"You leave in a week." She said smiling. Everyone left the room. Josh waited for me as I packed my stuff. I got up and stood an inch away from him and grabbed his hands.
"You know it could be romantic to have a wedding on broadway blvd." I said to him smiling looking into his eyes. He stepped closer to me and there was a few millimetres between his lips and mine.
"What ever you want, I want." He said. I felt his hot breath on my face. He leaned in and kissed me. My lips fit to his like its meant to be and I loved it. The kiss broke as me heard Caralyn cough disapprovingly. We giggled and went to our separate studios. Josh had adults jazz and I was filling in for carina for pre school ballet.
The little children came in with tutus and ballet buns. So adorable! I started calling attendance.
"Mariah?"
"Here"
"Jennifer?"
"Here"
"Cassidy?"
"Here"
"Jarred"
"Here"
"Nicole?"
No answer.
"Nicole?" I repeated.
No answer
"Has anyone seen Nicole?" I asked the little kids.
Mariah raised her hand.
"I saw her in the bathroom." She said. I saw josh running past the room.
"Josh!" I yelled out. He turned to look at me.
"Watch them for a minute. Thanks!" I said kissing his cheek and running off leaving him confused.
I ran off to the washroom.
*joshs POV*
I slowly walked into the pre class kinda scared. I DO NOT have a good past with little kids.
"Hi..." I said. Before I knew it they were jumping on me and screaming!!!
*Sophies POV*
I walked into the washroom and was utterly shocked at what I saw. I little girl. About 3 years old. Crying.
"Nicole?" I said. She looked at me scared and wiped her eyes.
"Oh, hi. I'm sorry I'm late. I'll get to class." She said rushing past me but I grabbed her arm. She turned back to look at me with her large blue orbs with a blood shot look.
"What's wrong?" I said picking her up and putting her on the counter. I grabbed some paper towel.
"I don't know.. I like this guy, alot, and we are best friends..." She rambled on. I smiled at how silly it was because she was so young yet she reminded me so much of myself.
"Sweety, you're too young for this pressure, i know what it's like, just stay strong." I said she nodded jumping off the counter and wiping away her tears.
She ran to class and I followed. Josh sat in a corner covering his ears while the kids ran aimlessly. Screaming. Jumping. There was ballet shoes flinging across the room hitting others in the face making them cry in pain. I mentally face palmed, but my expression was shocked and confused. My jaw was dropped as Nicole joined the swarm.
Josh was in the feetal position in a corner rocking back and forth. Ladies and gentlemen... my fiance..
"Josh!" I called. He looked up like a little meer cat and jumped up and ran to me. "SOPHIE! NEVER leave me with these demons again! They are loud and distruptive and crazy and- We have one of these at home.... but not like, 20!!" I giggled "And there won't be 20.' I said smiling. He rolled his eyes.
"Class!" I called they all dropped what they were doing and stared at me.They all ran and sat in a semi circle around me.
"Now, we bothered Mr.Josh by doing this... What do we say?" I said to the innocent eyed children
"Sorry Mr. Josh...." They all groaned. I giggled as Josh awkwardly walked out of class and we got started.
