chapter 1

laurences pov

i stand in front of the mirror the razor in hand, i slit my wrist "one for being worthless i feel the blood drip on the floor, two for liking him, three for being weak," i start to feel light headed i put the razor down and cover my arm. there is a knock at the door,"i'll be out in a minute" i say i clean off the blade and put it in my pocket. i open the door garroth is outside , i go back to my room and get changed.
i go downstairs it smells like  a full breakfast ,"dante must have made breakfast again" i say grabing a few pieces of bacon and toast.
travis comes up the stairs"hey laurence what are you doing today" he asks.
"i dont know probably going to visit cadenza" i say taking a bite of my toast.
"well im planing on going over to watch anime with aphmau you want to come" he asks me.
"im fine with staying here" i say. "okay your loss " he says leaving accross the street. garroth comes down the stairs, "want to have a mario kart battle" he asks.
"of course , im going to beat you so bad" i say smirking . we play we both win two games its the last race , i push garroth over but he pulls me down to the ground with him, im on top of him we both blush i get off of him, "i..im so sorry garroth i didnt mean to" i say nevously.
"lets go back to the game " he says, i cant focus on the game garroth wins .
"im going to visit cadenza" i say. i walk down the road and knock on her door.
"oh laurence what a nice surprise im glad to see you come on in. " she says , i go inside and sit on her couch . "i need to go to the store i will be back in a minute " cadenza says. she leaves and drives away. i go up to her bathroom and pull out the razor in my pocket.
"one for liking him, i cut another into my skin, two for showing i like him, the blood drips on the floor, three for being worthless, i feel light headed, four for cutting my pain away, i fall to the floor. i hear cadenza come back home,"oh no " i say, i start crying.
"laurence where are you " she yells i stay quiet .she comes up the stairs and opens the door, "laurence why" she says. all i see is darkness .

cadenza pov

i get back from the store and walk into my house, i dont see laurence,"laurence where are you" i yell out i go upstairs and see the bathroom light on "no he isnt" i say to myself i open the door laurence is on the floor bloody cuts on his arm. "laurence why" i say he closes his eyes i call 911 then i call aph and the boys.
a-aphmau  g-garroth
c- cadenza

c - you guys meet me at the hospital now!!!
a- why whats going on?
g- whats wrong
c- its laurence
g- we will be there soon.

the ambulance shows up i sit in the back with him a lady asks me questions.
"what happened?" she asks. "i came home and he was on the floor with blood around him i saw the cuts on his arm and" i say.
"has this happened before?" she asks
"yeah once in highschool but i thought he was clean now" i say crying.
"do you know why he might have been cutting" she asks. "well in highschool he cut because he liked a boy" i say.
"i understand what hes going through" she says, she rolls up her sleave there are three scars there. we arrive at the hospital they rush him into a room . i sit outside in the waiting room.
garroth, dante , travis and aphmau arrive"is he okay" they ask.
"i only got here a few minutes ago so i dont know" i say .
that same nurse comes out "only family can visit right now" she says i run into his room , hes laying on a bed, "is he okay" i ask, "hes still asleep from bloodloss but he is okay" a doctor says.
i sit by his bed , soon aph and the boys come in.
"hes still asleep but he should make a recovery soon" i say . garroth goes up to laurence "please why do you do this to yourself" he says, "im sorry " laurence says opening his eyes.
"laurence why did you do that you know you could have cut a vein , you could have died" garroth yells.
laurences eyes fill with tears  "im sorry" he says crying .
"we should probably let get his stuff so he can leave" i say.we go back into the hallway, "were going home to get rid of anything laurence might try" travis says. "okay i will take him home when hes ready." i say. They leave , Laurence comes out of his room.
"Are you ready to go" I ask.
"Yeah " he says quietly. We walk over to my car.
The ride back home is quiet "Laurence why did you do that" I ask.
...
"You like him don't you" I ask , "yes I don't know what came over me" he says."just dont do it again" i say, we dont talk for therest of the drive. i drop him off at his house.
"bye " i say.

garroths pov

" i dont know why he would do that to himself" i say on the ride back, "tbh he was acting wierd this morning" dante says, "we need to hide anything he might hurt himself with, " I say.
We arrive at home , "I will check his room , Dante check the bathroom, Travis check any other places he might hide stuff." I say I run up to his room, I look around his closet then check his clothes drawers , "have you found anything " Travis asks,
"Not yet have you "
"Well there are a lot of things he can use for self harm , like the knifes in the kitchen " Travis says.
"Look for stuff that isn't obvious" I say. I go back to looking I check under his bed I find a small pocket knife, I keep looking under his bed there is a small box of razors all have dried blood on them.i go I've to check on Dante "what have you found so far" I ask him.
"A box of razors that have blood on them" he says,
"Same " I say we hear the door open up, we all go see Laurence standing there , "are you okay" Travis asks,
"I'm going to get some sleep " he says, he goes upstairs to his room.
"Did we get everything " I ask them,
"I think so " Travis says,
"Should one of us talk to him" Dante asks,
"He needs some alone time" I say.everyone else goes to bed.

laurences pov

i go to bed as soon as i get home i check where i hid my razors,"they took them all " i say. i change into pajamas and fall asleep right away. in the morning i get up and go downstairs for breakfast , dante is sitting at the table. "how are you today" he asks.
"im okay my arm is still sore but otherwise im good" i reply back.
"you know garroth was worried " dante says, i sigh "i need to go" i say i go over to aphmaus house , i knock on the door kawaii chan answers "oh hello laurence kun aphmau senpai and katelyn sama are at the store but you can come in" she says, i go sit on the couch kawaii chan is watching an anime there are 6 boys and a girl wearing blue iniforms , it looks cool we watch a few episodes until aph gets back. after about an hour she comes, "oh hey laurence" she says, "hey " i say back, "how are you" she says, "im good my arm is still sore but thats all" i say, "yeah i heard" katelyn says ,
"what did katelyn sama hear" kawaii chan asks, "its nothing " she says, soon we all watch more of that anime "dont you think honey is so kawaii" kawaii chan says, "yeah but dont wake him from his nap" katelyn says we all laugh , "i should probably get going but i'll see you guys tomorrow" i say,
we all say goodbye i walk accross the street and put my hands in my pocket i feel the razor "its still in there" i say to myself i go straight to bed , and place the razor in my closiet.

well i never thought i would finally finish this, i might continue it depends on if i have time and if people like the book
