Jason's POV
So I may or may not have got my own ride and followed Max..A very moronic idea but there was no other choice. Like a penguin, I waddled out into the chilly and frigid Arctic.

The helicopter had followed their one all through out the entire trip, yet they didn't notice even once. A substantial building remained before me as I shuddered outside it. Consider the possibility that I strolled in and was attacked? Or even worse, kidnapped?

Shaking my head, I excused the thoughts running through my mind and remembered who this was all for. With my karate skills at hand, I was 100% certain I had this.

Releasing a warrior cry; I kicked the entryway down however simply hurt my back as I fell onto the snow. Standing back up after hurting yet another part of me, I walked through the already open door with my hands up as guard.

It was surprisingly comfy inside contrasted to what I had expected. The sound of strides started to sound much clearer as they came closer. Whoever was here most likely heard the door creak open.

A crazy looking man came into focus holding a spoon. He looked a 'Dave', reminding me of the minion with the goggles and all. I punched the spoon fiercely as it dropped onto the ground.

"Let's do this Dave." I lifted a finger and motioned for him to make his first move. I let out another warrior shout and did a roundhouse kick in the air, showing my strengths.

"Kid what's wrong with you?" He lifts his spoon from below and strolls again into what resembled a kitchen. I stayed befuddled to what had simply happened, wasn't he suppose to fight back? Wasn't this where Jessica was, I wondered?

Feeling substantially more hotter, I took my jacket off and began to ponder around. What on earth was going on? I hear suppressed voices from an adjacent room which draws me outside the entryway. With my ears level against the wood, I listened anxiously; attempting to clear my baffled mind.

"Robbie I was extremely drawn in when I read about your research online. It is strikingly outstanding! I would love to hear much more about it." I scoff at the sound of Max misleading another person.

I sat outside the entryway listening to the entire discussion before my stomach rumbled as noisily as a Pterodactyl scream. Well there went my cover.

The door suddenly opened making my back fall onto the floor for the second time. Dave gazes at me from above and I stand up, still exceptionally humiliated for the experience before and now this.

"They have gone upstairs." He says before leaving to God knows where. Walking into the room, my eye's arrived upon a mug of steaming hot chocolate and a scone as an afterthought. Did he make this for me?

With my back still very sore, I crawled to the coffee table and sat before the fireplace. Whilst devouring the delicious jam scone, I realised there was a small, peculiar on the corner of the tray.

Hello Jason. It would be ideal if you pardon me yet I can't just be irritated for any more presentations. My name is Robert and that is all that is needed to know. I let you know this with experience; my boy you still have a chance to escape the nightmare you are about to enter. Whatever you think you "need" to do is essentially simply your own particular sentiment. The people that have taken your friend hostage are much more powerful then your karate chops and shouts. For both of our sakes, leave this terror and never look back.

His words hit me like a brick. I knew these villains would be strong yet I didn't expect the word "powerful" to come into hand. He most most likely had a harsh time with them for him to compose a note that quick.

Putting my mug in the kitchen, I sat by the flame pondering what to do. Yes these "thugs" could be the biggest, baddest wolves around but, nothing mattered to me more than Jessica's happiness and safety.
