My After Life(Revising in Process)

Chapter 6 Lily

When I wake up there is no Autumn. But a note next to my bed.

Good Morning. Today you will visit your twin Lily. Of course you get to visit you twin. Have a fun day.

Yeah, Lily is my twin, fraternal though. She is one of my best friends. We use to spend all our time together before Autumn died. Then we drifted. She is very out going and kind of pretty. She was a back up for the cheerleaders at high school, basically cause she was a little over weight. So when someone quit or was cut off she would be the first to replace that girl, even if the girl getting cut was captain or co-captain. If she lost some weight though. I wonder how that's going. 

I stop thinking about her and start thinking about me. I can never change my outfit, it stuck on me. I'm glad that its my favorite outfit. Cuffed Dark Blue Jeans, White T-Shirt, Grey Cardigan with 3/4 Length Sleeves, Bright Red Scarf and my Grey Converse. The only thing I can add to my outfit is deodorant. So at least I won't smell the rest of eternity.

Closing my eyes I think Lily. Then when I open we are at school, it's lunch time for her. I begin to look around the whole lunch room for her. But she's no where to be found. Not even by any from "the gang". Walking past the gym, I see the Cheerleaders practicing. I go into the gym. I need something to do. I see them standing in a big clup and two girls in the middle, it was Avery, the lead captain, and Lily. She looks different. Shes skinnier, and tanner. Someone had some work done. I listen in on the conversation that is about to start.

"As you all probably know Jeri the co captain was drinking at the party she went to two nights ago. Everyone knows that there is to be no drinking you must always be sober. So as stated in our rules, she was kicked off the team. You all also know that we always have a back up in case something like this happened. This year our back up is Lily, and since Jeri was co captain, Lily will be replacing her. She's a great dancer is OBVIOUSLY very beautiful. So let us give a warm welcome for our new co captain LILY!"

They all clapped. When the applause died down Lily began to speak,

"Thanks everyone. I'm glad I get to be on the team now. I promice to always be helpful, and be there for everyone when ever you need me. As you all know my twin sister is "dead", but I will try not to let the sadness getting in the way of making it to Nationals! Thanks guys!"

Applause again. But then the bell rang. There was two periods left in the school day for her. Algebra II and Gym. Algebra was boring to watch but it finally time for gym. 

When she gets there all the cute football players swarm here and begin to talk. I only listened at the end of the conversation.

"Hey Lily, do you remember me? Mike?"

"Yeah, weren't you the guy trying to flirt with my in Language Arts?"

"Yes, that was me. Anyway, I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me on Saturday?"

"Well, it depends what did you have in mind?"

"We could go the Sushi place by the mall and then go see a movie. I think there's a new scary movie out."

"Sounds like fun I would love to go. Pick me up at 6? 1313 Grave Avenue?"

"Can't wait. Bye Lily."

"Bye Babe."

Wow way to go Lily. 

They them run the 1 mile run. Her finally time was 4:13.67. The new record of the school, which means she will get a plaque with her name, picture and record and then be hung in the gym on the Record Wall.

Wow she's having a great day. Now it's time for Cheer leading. Great, I get to watch practice for once. There start by stretching every square inch of there body, besides their faces, which took an hour. Then they begin to work on toe touches.

"Hey Lily, wanna show them what a perfect toe touch should look like?"

"Sure thing Avery!"

"Alright everyone pay attention. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8."

On 5 6 she does the perfect prep, and on 7 she jumps in the air so graceful, toe pointed, straight legs, sitting in her form, and arms in a perfect T, and on 8 landing in the prefect stance."

"Great job! Now you guys will work on your toe touches for the last 30 minutes if practice. Grab a partner and work together."

I watch as Lily goes around and watches everyone. Reminding them to point their toes, and occasionally helping them to sit in their form.

After practice everyone leaves except for Avery and Lily.

"hey, you wanna come to my house and start to work on Hip-hop?"

"Not tonight Avery. I work the 6-930 at Target."

"No big girl. How bout tomorrow?"

"Sure."

"Sounds good. Great job today."

"Yeah." she says and walks away.

Driving home, alone and then crawls into her bed. I guess she wants to take a nap.

Crap that means this is the last time I get my twin. Well here goes nothing.

"Hey sis."

"Is that you Paris?"

"Yeah it's me. But if you touch me I'm gone forever. This is the last time we get to talk."

"Okay. Why did you kill your-"

"I don't want to talk about it...... But congrats on getting on the team."

"Thanks. I was totally excited for it. Sucks to be Jeri right now."

"I bet. And congrats on the date."

"Thanks. Mike is jus so hot, but shy. I guess we will see how it goes. Damn, I'm starting to wake up."

"Okay. Well I guess this is good bye Lil."

"I guess. Good bye sis."

I begin to walk towards her.

"Good luck with your life sis."

"Thanks."

We hug and we both whisper into each others ear "Love you twin sis! Don't forget about me!"

I kiss her cheek and then I'm in my room, again. The only place I'm getting sick of. I didn't know what to do, but I saw Beautiful Creatures, the book sitting on my I begin to read. Hours later, I fell asleep.
