time has past and its now the gold medal day, and after tonight I have to say goodbye too all the new friends that I made
I woke up got in the shower and got dress

then i went to see avery

after we both went on the bus
i can't believe i will be saying goodbye to my friends
"i can't believe i have to say goodbye to all my new friends tonight" avery said
"i know" i said a little sad
we finally got to the arena and we went to our seats i was sitting next to connor's parents and his brother
" you excited to see the gold medal game" his brother Cameron asked me
"totally " i told him
when the game started 10 seconds into the game and Anthony scored so we all screamed
when the 3rd period started none of us took are eyes off the ice when there was only 2 seconds left and the guys all jumped up and threw there gear in the air and cheer so did all of us i was so happy for them
i went to see avery and she hugged me
"they did it, they really did it" i told her
" i know i'm so happy " she said and we both had the biggest smile on our face
when it was time to go on the ice ran and jumped in connor's arms
" you did it, i'm so proud of you" i told him smiling
"thank you it means a lot " he said smiling
he went and hugged his parents and his brother so i went to congratulate the others and i hugged them i got a picture with some of the other guys
then i got one with connor
when we got off the ice and everyone was ready to leave we all went back to the hotel
when everyone got there stuff we all went in the lobby's to say goodbye and to leave

"i'm going to miss you too, i love you" she told me
" i love you too" i said

"i'm going to miss you have fun going back to the NHL" i told him

i then said goodbye to the others and went to see connor

we left for the airport and went home to erie
i fell asleep on the plane because connor woke me up when we got to erie...
