On a dark stormy night. A family of four were just cleaning up after supper.
There was a knock on the door.
" who could that be?" Asked the father.
The mother went to answer the door. When she did she smiled and said " kids grandpa is here" " yay grandpa" the youngest cheered.
The oldest Jamie did not under stand why he was there in this huge storm.
" we'll come in" the father says. The grandpa comes in.
After the kids go to bed. Jamie asks why he's is here. " I was caught in the storm" the grandpa says.
Jamie goes to bed. The next morning
The phone starts ringing.
" hello?" Jamie answers.
" oh he..l..l..o Jamie" the grandma says between sobs. "What's wrong grandma?" Jamie asks. " your grandpa died yesterday on west 49 street in a crash" " but he was here last night" Jamie replies.
" you don't understand he died yesterday morning on west 49 street!
