Summer's POV

I groan as the sun hits my eyes. I stuff my head in my pillow.

Today was the first day of school and I wasn't ready for it .

Wait ... Shit today's the first day...

I quickly get out of my bed and run into the shower. I take a quick look I the mirror and see my dried up mascara that ran down my face.

"Who the heck plans a stupid party the day before school starts" I mumble to myself as I look down at my now wrinkled dress.

I undress and hop into the shower. Water always ends up calming me down. Like just showering or swimming helps me forget all my problems just for a while.

"Honey hurry up in there you only have twenty minutes before you have to drive to school."

I turn off the water and I roll my eyes at my mother. "Don't worry mom I'll leave on time." I say in my fake voice.

As I open my door to my room, after putting on my makeup and putting my contacts in, I notice that an outfit is laid out for me.

"Mom I'm not wearing what you pick. I mean it's my first day of senior year. I'm not going to school dressed like a 12 year old."

I make my way to my closet and pick another outfit out. I love when I make my mom mad by my clothing choice. I mean it's not like I wear  something slutty. It's just I don't like going to school dressed like a nun.

Don't get me wrong I'm still your average goody two shoes but I just hate my mother. She's just so controlling of my life and I'm sick of it.

When I was younger she told me I needed to stop eating because I would get fat. She told me I wasn't pretty enough and I should start wearing  make up. I WAS ONLY FUCKING 11. She tells me that I'm never good enough.

Its all her fault for driving away Bella .... It's all her fault.

I get snapped out of my thoughts as my younger sister runs into my room.

"Carmen .... Please knock when you come in"

She smiles innocently at me. "Sorry sissy I just wanted to tell you that's it's my first day of kindergarten."

I chuckle as I pick her up and give her a kiss on the cheek. "I know princess. But I have to get ready for school too. How about you go pour your big sister some juice and I'll be right down." I put her down and she sprints out of my room.

I basically raised Carmen on her own. My parents are never home so I end up taking care of her right after school when the nanny leaves. I don't mind because I love her more then anything.

I decided on wearing a skirt matched with a cute top and my favourite jacket. I quickly put my phone in my bag and I walk out the door.

By this time my parents were already gone. I see my sister all dressed up for school and I smile as I walk over to her and pick her up.

"I have to go now but I promise that as soon as I get home we sit down and play and you'll tell me about your first day of school."

She's smiles as she kisses me cheek. I chuckle and put her down. "Bye sissy, I love you" she says as she gives me a big toothy smile.

I ruffle her hair. "Love you too, see you after school."

With that I walk out the door and towards my car. I sigh as I get in and I drive off to school.My house was quite far from the school. At the most it would be a twenty minute drive.
