(Gavin's POV)
I remember nothing after being picked up by Michael. I woke up and looked over to see Michael with his beanie couched in his hands that were against his face. "Mi-cool?" I questioned. His head shoot up. "Gav!!!" He shouted as he rushed over a hugged me. "I'm so glad your alive!!" Michael had tears running down his face. "I though I lost you." He said quietly. I look down at my arms as soon as he let go. "Mi-cool?" I called for him and the realized he was next to me. "Yes gavy." He sad looking at me. "What happened to my arms?" My arms where badly burned and red. Michael look worried. "Well you went in to try and save Kat and you got her out but you got badly burned." Michael said as kinda teared up and sniffled. "Where is Kat!?!?" I shouted as I tried to get out of bed. Michael stopped me and laid me back down. He was kinda crying but trying to hold it in he didn't want to have to share this news to his best friend. "Kat-" he paused and braced himself for what was bout to happen. "Kat died." I was silent not wanting to believe him. "W-what?" I asked faintly. "The firemen took her away and you could barley walk so I took you down stairs and laid you down I had to give you CPR to keep you alive. 'cause I couln't lose you, I couldn't lose my best friend. But on our way to the hospital Kat died." Michael couldn't help but cry. And so did I. He hugged me and I cried in to him. I could tell he hated seeing me this way. I cried in his arms for about a hour and the whole time Michael was rubbing my back. "Shhhhhhhh, Gavin you'll be ok. Shhhhhhhh." Michael said over and over. Soon enough all the Achievement Hunter boys came in holding 'get well soon' balloons and 'sorry for your lost' cards. They all comforted me with hugs and rubs on the back. I stopped crying till I read the cards. "Well buddy we're gonna let you rest." Geoff said as he patted my back. Everyone was leaving. "Wait Mi-cool." I said with a sad tone. He turned around and looked at me. "I need someone, I need my best buddy." I said sounding very pitiful. He smiled a small smile and said "sure thing buddy!"

I had just woken up from a nap and Michael was sleeping on the small couch in the room. I just laid there not wanting to wake him up and trying to put Kat out of my mind. No working. I thought of what Michael said earlier. '....I had to give you CPR to keep you alive. 'Cause I couldn't lose you, I couldn't lose my best friend....' Those words played in my mind as I started to cry again.
When he woke up he walked over to me and patted my back. I grabbed him and hugged him. "Thank you mic-cool" I whispered into his ear. "For what?" He said with a slight smile. "For saving me." I whispered again.

Today was the day I get out of the hospital. I was happy but my happiness faded and I started to cry as I though of Kat. Michael walks and I turn to him. "IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!!!! IF YOU DIDN'T SAVE ME I COULD BE WITH HER!!!!!!!! WHY DID YOU SAVE ME? NO I HAVE TO LIVE THOUGH THIS HELL WITHOUT HER!!!!!!" I screamed and turned away. I could tell I scared Michael. "I-I'm sorry Gav." I said with fear in his voice. "Just call Geoff to get me please!" I said with a growl. I knew I hurt him but right now I didn't care. "Ok." He said softly as he backed out of the room. He called Geoff and when he got there I was still crying. He held my shoulders and to me to the car. "Bye gav." I heard Michael mumble. I didn't even bother to look up. My mind was somewhere else.
I woke you the next morning to the smell of bacon I put some clothes on and walked down stairs to see Geoff and Michael watching tv. I then looked at Michael and remember what I said to him. 'Shit! He must bloody hate me!' I thought to myself. Michael looked back at me and I looked at him. I looked into his eyes that where filled with. He was probably worried that I would yell at him again or hurt him physically. "I should go!" Michael said as jumped of the couch breaking the awkward tension filled silence. "Ok but you don't have to." Geoff said as he was looking at Michael putting on his coat."I think it will be best! Bye Geoff! bye gavin." He said as he left the room. He said my name quietly cause he was scared to speak to me. I thought
'Did I just chase away my best friend?'
