— NOAH, give it back to me now. — I growled. He was at my bedroom holding my hairbrush up in the air so that I couldn't get to it. He was taller than me and I was getting furious about it. I tried to reach to the hairbrush many times but it would always slip through my fingers. As if he being taller than me wasn't unfair enough, he jumped on my bed and made it even harder to get to.
— You'll never get to it, S. Your little dwarf. — He had a smile on his face.
— What have you just said, Noah O'Brian? — I growled once again the words out of my mouth. — I'll show you who's the dwarf, your dork!
I jumped on my bed trying to get my hairbrush from his hands but he always dodged when I was almost succeeding. I really needed that to get my hair brushed because we have school today and I can't show up like a monster. He didn't need to brush his wave light brown hair because even if it was messy he would still look pretty handsome with it. Sometimes his hair fell on his blue eyes and he flipped it up again. I glanced at him and stopped for a while looking at the beautiful sight I had in front of me. I really feel lucky to have Noah as my best friend. It could be anyone else but fate put us together and I couldn't be more thankful to whoever did that. I was best friend with the most handsome guy of school and better still, I could be near him and look at him and even touch him whenever I wanted. He was dreamy.
— Will you be staring at me forever, Princess of the dwarves? It's almost time to go to school. — He flipped his hair out of his eyes and made me come back to reality. And I did. And I was pissed.
— Now it's for real! Give it back or I... or I....
— Or you what, dwarf? — He said in an ironic way.
That got me really crazy. I went to him with everything and jumped in order to achieve the hairbrush and he dodged once more trying to avoid me. I stepped wrongly in the corner of the bed and that made me fall down to the floor, bumping my head against the chair leg, which was standing in front of my bed. I felt dizzy. Soon, everything was becoming dark and I could barely hear his voice calling me as it was fading out.
— Hey, S! Are you okay? Sally, honey! Talk to me. Can you hear me? Are you hurt? S.. S...
His voice became far and low and then, I passed out. When I woke up, I slowly realized I was in my bed. I felt my head hurting so much. I was still dizzy and my sight was spinning as well. I tried to reach out for anything just to make sure I was still alive or that I could move myself out of bed. I tried to get my head up a but I wasn't able to. All of a sudden, I started feeling a heat on the cheek that was laid down. I was fumbling the area near my face to trying to get strength for getting up when I realized I was fumbling my bed, it was like something warm, like a skin, I opened my eyes and figured out I was laying on his chest and then I could listen to his heartbeat, too.
— Stay put, S. You're fine. You just hit your head and then you passed out. You gave me such a fright, S. But now, you're fine. Just try to rest for a while.
— How....how long have I been asleep, B? — I used to call him "B" because of his last name O'Brian, which made him look even cuter.
— Just a few hours. And I stayed here with you all the time. The firefighters came here and said you just needed to rest, so, there you are. I made myself a bed for you to feel more comfortable and warmed. We'll live to be ninety together. — He said that with an encouraging smile on his face.
— Thanks, B. You're such a gen..tle...man.. — I fell asleep again on his chest. Before I was asleep, I could feel his arms wrapping around me, cuddling me.
— Take your time, baby. In addition, you still haven't gotten you hairbrush, Snow White, Princess of the seven dwarves. — He said trying to cheer me up but I wasn't listening anymore, I just kept laid down on his chest listening to his heartbeat.
